Sofi’s Corner — Restaurant in Tacoma

A breakfast place in Tacoma open past 10am?! It's true! Not only that but one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in years.

I had the sausage egg and cheese on a bagel, which they put in a panini press so it's perfectly crispy without being burnt, melty cheese and perfect eggs. I had the drip coffee to drink, which was served in a large mug with avaliable refills. Drip coffee can often be mid, burnt, or just plain, but I was really suprised by how good it was here.

My spouse had a salad, it was served in a large plate with a wonderful presentation. They take the time to make it look as nice as it tastes, he ate every bite. He drank a cherry sprite with tajin and lime slices. The drink was also prepared with care, and he really enjoyed it saying it was summery and refreshing.

The cafe itself is open and nicely decorated. It was comfortable and relaxing to sit in, the tables were very large, easily enough for a group but for just two felt a little far apart. The staff was very friendly from the moment we came in. She chatted with us and recommended the salad my spouse eventually got after talking with him.

This little café is an absolute gem! It’s got such a warm, cozy vibe, and it’s the perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The menu is just the right size—not too big, not too small—with a great mix of breakfast and lunch options. I’ve tried their sandwiches and paninis, and they’re always fresh and delicious. Oh, and their salads? So good!

Don’t even get me started on the coffee and smoothies—they’re top-notch. And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, their baked treats are a must-try. The staff is super welcoming and always makes you feel right at home.

Major disappointment in all four things ordered. Their $9.25 “egg” breakfast sandwich was the most pathetic thing I’ve ever paid for. I went back in and asked if the thin slice of overcooked egg and dry English muffin was normal and they said yes!! 🤯 It was also missing the tomato and avocado I paid extra for. I asked for my money back but they couldn’t refund me because the order was placed through Yelp electronically. What a joke! Also, the small slice of banana bread was burned, the burrito was cold with same awful egg and poor/cheap quality ham, and the latte was way too hot to be safe with milk burned. What a waste of 30 minutes of my life and $33 for this...
