Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Tallahassee

When we were greeted at the door, the waiter that took us to our table was very short. As in, she really wasn't a very friendly person who came to the care and service of her guests. Oh no, she was very stern, as in she just seemed cross about something and we were just in her way, or something. Clearly, her priority wasn't to make her guests feel welcome or appreciated for coming to visit this location. Over literally any other restaurant in Tallahassee. Just seemed like customer service at that time just wasn't her biggest priority. Other than, of course, making money for the chain.

We weren't going to let that ruin our night, though. She did improve her attitude over time. However, even after we had ordered our food. She still was not very friendly. Her remarks were extremely disregarding and not very enthusiastic or caring for the comfort of her guests. Who could have just walked out if we wished, but who chose to endure the nonsense to hopefully have a better outcome.

Also, other than a bad waiter. As soon as we were seated at our table. We couldn't help but notice that an appliance controlling who knows what, with a key in it, was just hacked out of the wall and was hanging by an exposed electrical cable. Obviously, this appliance did something at one time, other than looking like a piece of e-waste.

After that, the food showed up, and while good, I have never had such a flavorless ribeye steak ever. Even with the provided spices that were available. No matter how much seasoning was on the steak. It still tasted like someone literally stuck a bare steak in a frying pan full of water and cooked it on an electric range for half an hour. Without adding any spices or seasoning to it at all, and then pulled it off and stuck it on a plate, and said, that will do it. What?

Other than all that, it was a pretty typical middle of the road experience, nothing special. Was definitely a little bit more on the expensive side, for a once again a middle of the road sit down restaurant. Just a very mediocre experience here, I like this place, but it definitely has "changed" since...

After working 12 hrs, I wanted some wings from Beef O Bradys. I called in and ordered 15 wings traditional, fried soft, extra wet. I picked up my order. After I got home, I found the wings were extra crispy. I called to have them remade. I got back in my car and went back up there only to lectured by one of the servers who wore glasses, had strawberry blonde colored hair that was in a bun/ponytail, about what I asked for (fried soft) as opposed to what I received which was extra crispy. Trust me, I know the difference. I wasn't understanding the server's attitude towards me about the request, I just wanted what I paid for which did include a tip. I received my new order after waiting 10 minutes even though I called in advance. She placed it in front of me and walked away to continue preparing utensils for other customers. The new wings weren't extra wet as requested so I asked for an additional side sauce. She did provide it. But I feel I should have been asked if the wings were satisfactory which they weren't. The last couple of experiences with Beef O Bradys have been subpar. I like the hot wing sauce which I wish would be available for purchase somewhere else like Publix so I wouldn't have to be subjected to all of this especially after working 12 hrs, during a thunderstorm and being tired from a trying...

The atmosphere, drinks, and food are always great. I've been multiple times usually experiencing a cool and friendly staff. However, my last visit I went in for lunch and requested a booth where my back was against the wall. (This is more than a preference and borders on having anxiety about someone I don't know sitting right behind me.) I asked my server very nicely if I could sit in a booth in the corner and she basically freaked out. It was only two booths down from the one she wanted to put me in and then she got extremely rude. Stating " I don't understand why it even matters to you".(And more comments afterwards) I wish I would've gotten her name to let anyone reading this know but I forgot. Honestly, she was the rudest server I've ever had in my life and couldn't stand her even checking on my table. Still three stars because of so many other good experiences. Still, I hope that server is In a great relationship and gets broken up with in a public setting. Only to find out her best friend and sister were just proposed to....
