Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Tallahassee

Called to order pizza & salad for 4 people, including my 95 yr old parents. This was a treat for us since we live in the country, 35 mins from this store (so no delivery). Ordered one large cheese pizza, with EXTRA cheese, and lg antipasto salad. The guy taking the order was terrible, couldnt get order right, added wrong salad dressing & he put it under the wrong name & wrong phone #. My husband picked up food and drove 35 mins home. I opened the box to serve my parents and there was about 1/2 cup of cheese on the entire pizza, i could see most of the sauce and crust. I couldnt serve just hard crust like that to my elderly parents. Thats why we order them extra cheese. I called the mngr, who told me i hadnt placed an order (which is when i found out it wasnt even in the right name/#). I told him i wanted my money back. Then the owner got on the phone, said hed make me another pizza. Once i told him we werent waiting an hour for another pizza, he slso referred to my WRONG address, which was the customer at the wrong phone #. I complained about constantly being cheated out of cheese i was paying for. He said they are now WEIGHING THEIR CHEESE. I told him im never ordering ftom them again and wanted my money back. He agreed to do that. Once i hung up, i looked at the receipt and saw the wrong customer on it, so i called him again to make sure he knew who to refund money to. Thats when he told me he would only be refunding the cost of the EXTRA CHEESE. Told me he would not refund the whole pizza!! What good is just the pizza with no cheese???

BEWARE!! I ve been ordering from this location for years and its gotten so bad that you cant even see the cheese on your EXTRA CHEESE pizza any more. Im done with being ripped off at these cheap businesses that wont give customers what they have...

We order from this location quite frequently because there are many options out where we live. Yesterday I had one of the worst customer service experiences with my order. I used the app to order food (done before), more than 2 and a half hours before it was needed. It said it would be ready by 5 pm. Great! I had people coming over and can't cook with an ear infection and newborn. Delivery shows up 30 min past that time. Boxes were not closed properly. Driver says oh i forgot half of your order. I explained this would not work. He told me to call the store manager and see what they could do. He had me sign the receipt which had a substantial tip on it and he left, informinf me He wasn't even a normal driver... so i call the manager, who was completley rude. I informed the manager of the order issue (missing two large chef salads half my order, pizza cold, and pizza not even correct toppings), and he said he would just remake the order and not charge me for the salads but that i would have to wait another hour and a half because i was "outside of the service area"... i told him i didnt care about the money, what i wanted was the food and promptly as they made an error and i had already waited for 2.5 hours on the other order ...he started getting angry and said he couldn't do that because it was a min 1.5 hours for delivery to my house. The manager never once apologized!!!! After arguing with him for about 5 min, i was afraid he would do something to our food so i told him to forget it.. never heard another word from them.. no call, no pizzas, no apology...terrible. i will not order from them again!!! Why offer a service to an area if you can't provide it. Also, own up to your mistakes and...

i hate to be one to complain.. especially working im fast food, but i ordered from them twice in the same day.. the first time was delivered by doordash ( i dont know why, ive never used doordash ) and was given to the wrong person, so i was refunded the first time after being on hold for 20 minutes.. second time i ordered i sent it to my home which the driver called 7 times while i was at work so i was unable to answer. texted me and said “waited there for 7 minutes and no one answered” ( which i scheduled the pizza to be delivered when my boyfriend got home , and last time i ordered it took 45 minutes to be delivered ). my boyfriend got home right after he left and took the pizza with him back to the store. this will be second time i was refunded today.. the pizza was already paid for so they could have left it on the porch for us so it would be there when he got home in less than 5 minutes.. again i really hate to complain and try to understand as i know fast food is not easy as some other jobs.. but this made us not want to order from this location again, especially having...
