Kavakaze — Restaurant in Tallahassee

I've been to a number of kava bars across Florida, I love finding places like this one that really appreciate the vibes associated with drinking Kava.

Kava bars should always be unique to the area they're in. This one really caters to local students and the interests of its customers.

Everyone kind of finds their space to do what they came to do whilst enjoying their kava. Relaxing at the bar, socializing on the sofa with friends, studying on a laptop at one of tables, getting cozy with someone in the hammock, and even playing video games. There's room for everybody which is just what you want to see in this area.

The prices are fair for the area, and the kava is great quality. They even have kratom at fair prices which isn't so common.

I would say the only thing they need to work on is keeping their bathroom clean, or at least making sure it's customers using it. I really don't want to wait 15 minutes to use the restroom just to find a bunch of ashes on the toilet seat. Seriously bro, find a better place to do...

If i could give this place zero stars, I would. I did not consume anything here, and merely walked in with a few friends to see what it was.

Despite being a kava bar, they try to push kratom on you, a HIGHLY ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCE THAT IS ILLEGAL IN MANY COUNTRIES. Kratom can lead to addiction with severe withdrawal symptoms. Please do your own research before consuming anything here. The staff will not give you straight answers if directly asked.

The owner hangs around, blasts loud music, and is rude.

The bartender was not knowledgeable when we asked him what the products were, and, once again, kept trying to push kratom on us. We left without buying anything.

Went in there on a Sunday around 5, first thing I noticed was the smell of onions as people in there were eating whatever food they want to bring in and that day I guess people were craving burgers. Me and my bf sat at the bar, we were there for about 45 minutes, not a single person greeted us or offered to take our order. Also witnessed the bartender take out what looked like a giant tea bag empty it in the sink put it back behind the bar make something with gloves on, then move to the garbage to throw away his gloves. Prior to throwing the gloves away he proceeded to spit inside of them before tossing them. Never washed his hands not even after spitting in the gloves he was trashing. I would have ordered something but I would have had to ask him to wash his hands first. We left without...
