Let’s start by saying my FRIED GREEN TOMATOES were giant and delicious. You get four big slices of tomatoes. Mines were cooked to perfection but more importantly the batter was seasoned, crispy, and not super doughy. The ranch was definitely homemade and not that cheap water down sauce you typically get. I also got the potatoes O’Ryan without the ham. There were plenty of sautéed onions and peppers. The potatoes were brown and slightly crispy, with just a little cheddar cheese on top. I wanted some eggs to go along with my breakfast so I asked for 2 scrambled eggs and I got 2 folded eggs instead but oh well. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and super refreshing and sweet. Can’t go wrong getting that juice. We also ordered the COWBOY biscuit sandwich they ran out of country fried steak and we were offered chicken as a substitute. There is nothing little about the biscuit sandwich you definitely need two hands to eat it. We paired it with a side of grits and they definitely could have used more butter, no flavor to me rather bland. The employee who took our order was nice and patient, she answered every question I had and I really appreciated that. You seat yourself at this restaurant, they will call your order by the title of your favorite movie which you provide after placing your order. I think that’s pretty cool. The restaurant has a lot of seating and was clean. Thanks for the good breakfast Maple Street Biscuit Company!

I had such high hope and was very let down. The reviews are great but my food was everything but that. I ordered the Bam Bam yo yo (chicken and waffles). It's one of their signature dishes. First, they used chicken breast. And anyone who cooks knows how finicky chicken breast can be. You have to get it perfect or it will be either under cooked or very dry. Mine was unbelievably dry. Dry to the point where it was difficult to rip it apart on the edges. Not only were they dry but barely warm! It felt like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. My waffles were cold as well. The butter on the waffles didn't come close to melting. The only warm thing was the small amount of syrup they give. And to top this all off, the bottles of sauce that are on the tables are expired. They showed "8/9/18". Overall, very disappointed. I guess I expected more or maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Won't come back to find out though.

The food looks great and the picture could fool you but definitely not seasoned and very dry. The service is slow even when only one in line and 4 employees looking at a you but no one even has the courtesy to acknowledge and say we'll be right with you. I ordered chicken egg spinach cheese biscuit and sweet potato wedges but hence they forgot the main ingredient when serviced there wasn't any chicken. The sweet tea was not even a touch sweet, should be called an unsweetened sweet tea. That is an extremely old post. Colton was fabulous and awesome help today. Wonder Woman needed his assistance and He came through. Black Santa Claus was running behind and Colton helped him too. Unfortunately not much has changed with the Children Biscuit with eggs and gouda cheese. Chicken dry and gouda was slapped on top of the eggs not melted. As long as you ordered the jam it was deliciously made. Thnx for the jam and Colton.

UPDATE: So, today, my son took me to breakfast. And suggested Maple Street. I think the dine in experience is much better than take out. I must say I enjoyed them today. The food was great. Maybe I need to stick to the dine in experience. Keep it going, Maple Street OLD POST: Here's a place I just knew I was going to love until the more I returned, the more they didn't have. The first day I ordered it was delicious. Not too fond of the smashbrowns. The next day, I ordered they were out of spinach at 8 am, and the biscuit was microwave too long because it was hard. The third day, they were out of spinach and mushrooms in the morning again with no biscuits ready. I was done. If they can properly stock and cook food according to customer flow and fresh, not microwaved, they'd be off the chain. IJS

What a treat, What a treat! Had the Squawking Chicken Biscuit with the creamiest goat cheese and most delicious pepper jelly! I'm not a biscuit lover but these were awesome! Soft and flaky and not overly yeasty and thick! Had the hash brown stack and fresh squeezed orange juice. I suggest sharing the cinnamon frosted biscuit for a sweet finish. But the cherry on the top of this phenomenal meal was the service! The staff of young people are what guests dream of when they dine out. As a mgr of a Las Vegas restaurant, I was impressed and desperately wanted to tip but they do not accept them. So in lieu of a monetary compliment, I wanted to give Zach, Dexter and Sarah excellent guest service high fives and kudos to management for securing an awesome team. I will be back!

Whenever I travel to a new city I always try to go to at least one Michelin or Chef’s hat rated restaurant. Tally doesn't have anything like that but it's got Maple Street which is honestly better in the morning! The best place in town and I’d argue the world for breakfast. You'll be missing the pepper jelly for life after you move and the biscuits will ruin you for life! The staff make the place though - energetic, kind, and filled to the top with personality they add that X factor that you can't put on a plate (not that they needed it). Coming from Australia, I never really like American coffee, but if bring back their Maple blend for sure. 10/10 Tallahassee is not just about the Noles - it’s about Maple Street! ❤️
