I went here with my family last Sunday night. Our waitress we had took forever to get our drinks. Only refilled them once the whole meal. After we ordered our food. She came back to tell us they were out of certain items we ordered. (French dip sandwich) and baked potato. After my husband if he wanted a prime burger instead and he said no. I want to see a menu. She then told me I can swap your baked potato for loaded fries. Okay. Sure. Waited about 45 minutes and aour food comes. Both mine and my husbands steaks are incorrectly cooked. I ordered mine medium he ordered his medium well. Mine came out borderline rare. His came out medium rare. So we sent them back. They offered to rebook them wait an additional 20 minutes for other sets of steaks to come out. They too were incorrectly cooked. Also this time they took my husbands fries and didn't return them. So at this point he says something about the fries. The broccoli I had ordered wasn't cooked right either it was cold and crunchy. Typically it's steamed. We ask for the manager to talk to us. He comes over and we tell him about the fries situation and steaks. He goes to have yhe kitchen rebook our steaks. Finally another 10-15 min pads and our steaks are right. Waitress brings our Mt husbands fries. Then we are ready for the check, they tried to bill us incorrectly, and the waitress looks clueless when we ask for our kids ice cream scoops that are supposed to come with their meals. So my husband has to show her a menu. I also ask her can your manager do anything about our bill since we have had a horrible experience here for 2 hours.. she comes back and adjusts our bill and the manager only takes 10% off. I can honestly say with the level of food quality and service we won't be coming back as this time and a previous time when it's not even busy, the waitress takes forever nor do they actually know their menu. Also, when the waitress realized we were quite upset. She treated us even more terribly. Dropped the check never checked on us after that except to collect the bill. She was silent too. For a chain restaurant I would think that having kitchen staff that can cook a 6oz steak shouldn't take 3 times to get it right. Plus a server should know the menu. She went to ask the manager and they said they would this time but never again. When she delivered the message from the supervisor she did so with a negative tone while wearing shorts she began long scratches in between her legs up and down her inner thighs. Corporate please do yourselves a favor and meet Melanie if you haven't already. When you find out you have her serving your customers you will surely be convinced that Tallahassee location will be successful and grow for years to come. Hats off to the other waiters however, Melanie should teach a class. Her Attentiveness, how polite she is, her focus on exceptional customer service. She makes you feel as though she only have you to serve. Before we could ask for a refill she was coming with it. I'm use to having a waiter check on me maybe twice but she did as often as possible without being an interruption. When she brought the food she positioned the plates in such a way to be courteous she didn't talk over the food. When she grabbed the empty cups she didn't reach over but asked would we like to hand them to her as she explained her preferences when dining is to not have the waiter do that. Which meant she treats her customers like she would like to be treated if she was the customer. I tried to explain to her manager how wonderful my experience was dining tonight but I couldn't find the words. As you can see I found them. And it still doesn't speak volumes to how EXTRA-ORDINARY She is.
I am a lifelong loyal customer. Weekly eating for lunch and dinner. And out of my 43 years of living I've never had a more enjoyable experience. I am honored to have had the pleasure to be served by her. Tell her sorry my husband only gave a $10 tip and she deserved so much more. I hope the Corporate Managers reward her greatly to reflect what she deserves....a promotion to trainer!!!!!

Read moreI am a REGULAR customer here! Even worked there for a while back in the day. We always sit at the outside bar and Bill always takes care of us and has a great attitude and customer service! He checks on ALL of his customers consistently! I give him 10 stars all day everyday! However, the last 2 out of 3 times I’ve been Bill wasn’t there and the service was horrible!! The female bartenders showed horrible customer service (towards me at least). Both instances I sat down and the female bartenders walked passed me several times then after 5 -10 minutes finally decided to come over to me after passing me numerous times! I am a store manager in the restaurant business so I am very big on customer service and these 2 experiences were horrible! I don’t know the first bartenders name but HANNAH is trash!! She’s rude, racist, and had horrible customer service towards me! I can’t go into too much detail on here about what exactly transpired but long story short she basically overcharged me then when I called her over to ask about it she got an attitude and was just very rude and snappy! I still proceeded to give her my card to pay for it just because I didn’t want any issues and was ready to go at this point! She went to the register to swipe my card and still proceeded to talk crazy to me from the register as she’s closing out my tab. Even told me to shut up (in front of her manager!!) as we were going back and forth lol smh! That’s an immediate termination in my eyes. Then on top of all of that a random drunk racist guy walked up on me in the midst of all of this going on trying to side with her when he didn’t know what the hell was even going on! And touched me at that! I said all of that to say, after this experience today I really don’t even want to spend any more of my money with Millers! No one should have to ever experience what I went through at all! Everyone should be treated equally and with respect no matter what race they are!!!!
