My Son asked for Us to try out this new place and we finally got to go by today. The outside drive thru line is wrapped around the building, I don't think it's enough space really. We drove around and lucked up on a parking space, so we dined inside. I think the register location is in a bad spot because it doesn't take that many in line to be backed up to the door, definitely just not enough space.
Can I say Welcome to the Clean Ghetto! We were 2nd in line walking up to place our order, when one of the employees was extremely rude pushed Us back, walks straight across in front of Us, yelling at the cashier and other employees and then walked back out, I was like WHAT, my Son said just ignore it and let's order. The Young Man at the register was helpful with the menu and suggestions. We paid, took our number and grabbed a corner booth which provided a great visual of everything.
While waiting for our food, seems if You sit in the middle you were lucky. We watched randomly as 3 different employees just gave a way food and drinks. If they couldn't find the customer they randomly gave the food away to people sitting out in the middle opening area, I was like WOW the 1st time, 2nd time and WHAT THE FUDGE kind of establishment by the 3rd time. Watched another employee just walk up to the fridge and pull drinks out and gave away freely. Like where is the Management? Too much chaos going on, between not enough room to stand in line to no where to stand to wait for the food if it is to go. I think it needs to be rethought and better organization. Too many employees all bunched up and every where not being helpful.
The inside and outside seating is nice. Little nippy with the AC. Clean and well brand new looking. The place seems to be a mix between a Chic Fil A and a Wendy's.
I did like the chicken sandwich had a nice crunch and crispy texture on the outside, slight dry inside and didn't like the lettuce (blah) but the bun nice n soft tasted like brioche or sweet bun.
My Son liked the chicken tenders said it was better than Zaxby's but didn't care for the fries, meh.
Would we run to come back, not really, maybe if we caught it at a non busy time and probably just use the drive thru.
Hopefully the Management gets a handle on the employees behavior and...
Read moreBefore I go on to my review I will mention this was day 2 of opening to be fair. Now while with my family we decided to give it a try regardless of how the line looked they were better organized than I thought. Which helped the lines move according.
We like to try different restaurants from 5 star to hole-in-the-wall, we also cook a lot from home trying many recipes (just a lil background). Now the employees were excellent and held composure under pressure, the chicken definitely gave the vibe of just throwing some wings in grease then in sauce (no true flavoring, tenders where battered good, maybe could cooked another minute but I liked them. We did not get the sauces I ordered, being I wanted to try most of them. The Mac &cheese was good enough and not creamy like noodles, the oreo milkshake was good and I'll be back for another, fries definitely could've used a lil seasoning.
After spending $50 I'd say was filling but I would've chose otherwise. To be fair, I'll wait until the hype die down a little and try again and see if some of the kinks are out and quality comes to par. If seasoning takes place this restaurant will be a legit chicken competitor here in...
Read moreSaw dozens of good reviews on the Tallahassee Foodies Facebook page, so I decided to give it a try last Friday. The customer service was very poor, and the worker had her airpods in (I could hear the music playing) so she had me repeat parts of my order multiple times. The food tasted old even though I got to the restaurant 15 minutes after opening, and waited about 15 more minutes for my order. I was told the food was cooked to order and made fresh, but that's a lie. It really tasted like they cooked a ton early in the morning, and left it to sit under heat lamps. The wings were hard and dry. The tenders were also hard and dry. The potato salad tasted heavily like ranch and salt. The macaroni tasted old and watery, but also crusted over on the top. The slim chickens sauce had thick powdery bits in it, so I tossed it. I paid $20 for one meal, and it was a complete waste of money. What makes it even worse is that I've reached out to the restaurant twice, and gotten no response. I get that everyone's busy, but for a new restaurant they have a ton of bad reviews it doesn't look good to not address customers with...
