So today, I visited my local Starbucks store for my usually fix, tall coffee with 5 raw sugars and extra cream. Nothing elaborated I know, but a girl likes what she likes. I'm a advent coffee drinker and you can pretty much mess up anything if I'm ordering out, but DO NOT mess up my coffee. When I arrived to the window to pay, the barista repeated my order, a "grande" coffee with 5 raw sugars and extra cream. I immediately corrected her and told her it was a tall. She gave me a "look" and closed the window. A moment later she handed me my coffee. I was pleasantly surprised because of the order being incorrect but somehow they manage to correct it in mere seconds. As soon as I grab the coffee, I knew it wasn't hot. I asked her if it was hot knowing it wasn't and she said , "yes." I told her that normally I could feel the heat of the coffee when I normally order it but I wasn't feeling it with this one. She took the cup no apologies, no " I'll get that right away or whatever you would say to a customer whose order is incorrect or unsatisfactory. She just closed the window for me to wait a second time. She came back with the coffee and handed it to me, again no apologies of any sort, but I manage to say, thank you. I took the coffee and felt the warmth of the cup, still not what it is normally but I thought it would do. I pulled away and went to sip on my long awaited hot cup coffee only to taste luke warm coffee instead. At that moment I suspected that the original cup of coffee (the grande) was transferred into the tall cup which is why is was not hot at all. When I told them it wasn't hot, they nuked it but not enough. It was luke warm and the sugar was non-existed. The thing with raw sugar is that it settles at the bottom of the cup, so I always ask for a stirrer so I can mix it. There was no sugar at the bottom of the cup. Completely frustrated, I called the store moments after I left and asked to speak to a manager. An "AJ" answered the phone and stated he was the manager. I shared with him why I was calling and he immediately acknowledge that he remembered my order. As I explained what transpired regarding my order, I was expecting him to apologize for the mishap but instead he asked me "What do you want?!" Confused by his disingenuous tone and question, I paused for a minute. He then went on to say, I guess you want a refund or something. I responded by saying, "No, I just want my coffee to be right." I was truly surprised by this exchange. I've been visiting this location for years and have always had a good experience. I was really disappointed in how AJ handled the situation. Toward the end of the call he mumbled an apology and took my name. I patronize Starbucks because I'm a advent coffee drinker. I will pay more for a quality cup of coffee without blinking an eye. And for the price of coffee at Starbucks, my coffee should be the way I order it. I'm not sure about this location anymore, but who am I kidding. I'm a lover of coffee and so, I'll just have to find another location in the meantime, but for AJ and the young lady at the window 5/27/16, Saturday around 1:50-2:00p. y'all failed...
Read moreFor years we have stopped at this Starbucks on our way to Disney World from Pensacola. It’s the perfect spot for coffee, snacks, and a bathroom break. The coffee has always been amazing and the staff very kind. Upon entering the store last visit, I kindly asked the barista for the code to the bathroom and told her we would be placing an order. She told me “no” and that we had to place an order before we could receive the code. I was a little surprised by her tone and coldness towards me, but I was fine with placing the order first. No big deal! I would like to add that I literally order Starbucks almost every single day in my town, and I have NEVER been treated by an employee like how this barista treated me. The whole ordering process was so uncomfortable and awkward to the point I asked her was there a problem. She continued to be rude and said she did not have a problem that it was just my “perception” of her. I would also like to add, after she scanned my app, she slammed the scanner down and started to walk away before giving us the code to the bathroom. I asked her again for the code, and she mumbled it while walking away from the counter. I would love to say it ended there, but she then proceeded to talk about me to her coworkers through her headset. I am sad to say I will never be stopping at this store again. I definitely did not feel welcomed this visit as I have many times before. I understand people have a bad day, but her attitude was over the top, and very...
Read moreLet me first say I love Starbucks however this morning was a horrible experience. I received a muffin that was cool and didn’t taste it’s best , so I called the store to let them know. I was told by the Supervisor I needed to bring the muffin back for a refund. I let her know I had spit the muffin back inside the bag when I tasted it. She said I still needed to bring it back to the store. I had to keep the my entire work shift. Which was disgusting! When I got off I went to the location to return the item but the building was closed at 4pm. I’m not sure why I needed to bring it back bc honestly it was unsanitary to bring it back inside the store. Especially something under $4. I will be contacting corporate and sending them a pic of what I had to carry all day. Hopefully I’ll get my refund and never return to that location again.
I wanted to update my review to express my appreciation for how Starbucks responded to the concerns and issues I experienced. Their customer service team reached out to me with a kind and thoughtful gesture, which I truly appreciated. I also want to highlight that 99% of my experiences at Starbucks have been absolutely amazing. Thank you to the customer service team for addressing my concerns and continuing to provide...
