During a recent visit, amid personal challenges our family has been facing, including a battle against mold poisoning, we encountered an issue with the payment system. As a single father, this situation was distressing, especially with the confusion of dealing with a declined card while my daughters waited.

It's 2 AM and I enter the portal of the temple The temple of cheesy, beefy ecstasy wrapped in a shell

Upon entering, I notice that there's a few lines A line for the self-service kiosks that permit me to avoid unnecessary human interaction A line for those who need a living human to document their order and, A line to access the dispensary that contains the enchanting nectar known to us as: Mountain Dew Baja Blast

While waiting for my opportunity, I look around I see the humanity anxiously waiting Waiting for their opportunity Waiting for their reward Waiting for their craving to be fulfilled

It's my opportunity, my shot It's time to order I order the temple specialties The crunchwrap supreme The double cheesy gordita crunch The large cup for the enchanting nectar

My debt is due, It's a comfortable debt One that doesn't command monetary agony I compensate the temple without a grievance

I seat myself, and I look around I look at the humanity and their mixed emotions Some are angry that their wait has been of much length Angry that their reward may be erroneous Some are happy that they're immersed in the temple experience Happy that their reward was to their expectations

After a long waiting period, my reward has been announced I claim my reward, and seat myself once again

As indulge in my reward, I realize that I'm in love I'm in love with the combination of flavors that culminate beautifully to a climax I'm in love with the energizing rush that arrives when the enchanting nectar enters my mouth I'm in love with the fact that my double cheesy gordita crunch has no cheese on it I'm in love with the temple, and everything it stands for

Generally you know what to expect at Taco Bell. There’s a good amount of options for everybody, including vegetarians, and surprisingly, some good health-conscious options as well. Food is generally extremely tasty and cheap. This franchise is no different, and the staff is extremely nice. They’ll drop lines like “Have a tacotastic day” which while a bit cheesy make me smile every time.

One negative about this location, however, is that I believe that this store isn’t corporately owned, and so, prices are higher than any other Taco Bell I’ve been to. It’s not a big enough huge deal breaker to stop me from going when I’m craving Taco Bell, but some of the prices for limited edition items specifically can be more than a dollar higher than corporately owned locations. Makes them not as much of a good value in my opinion. If you’re ordering lots of food, this can definitely add up.

In addition to unfortunate pricing, expect very long wait times towards the night. This is due to the drive thru getting pretty crowded. To be fair, most of the restaurants on West Tennessee have this issue, but I once went to dine-in at 8 PM and a friend and I took literally 20 minutes to get my order taken (with no line).
