Golden Place Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Tallmadge

First and last time customers, the lady that took my order was incredibly rude I was only able to order 1 meal cause apparently I was cutting into whatever she was doing prior to me calling. The guy at the counter when we pick our food up was very very very nice. The food on the other hand was the worst I've ever tasted, the fried rice had no tatse other than startch and the Bourbon chicken tasted like boiled chicken it had no sauce on it I could have thrown some minute rice in the microwave thawed out a couple chicken thighs put them in some boiling water and had the same meal. It went in the trash...

The food is bland and tastes okay not good but okay. We ordered chicken fried rice and when you order that you expect it to be seasoned well and not just a touch with salt and pepper only. We also order the Orange Chicken and the Buffalo Wings that were on the website we did it to balance out the sweetness. The down side was that the Buffalo chicken was not spicy at all probably won’t come back here but we did enjoy the orange chicken that was all. But the reason why it gets two stars was they got all of the order right and they were nice. But please please please use more seasoning...

Prior to moving to Cuyahoga Falls, we lived right around the corner from one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had. Needless to say, it was hard to find anything that competed in the area, so Golden Place was a welcomed surprise. The food there is sooo good. Their spicy orange chicken and general tsos are some of the best I’ve ever had and I absolutely love their vegetable fried rice and spring rolls. We won’t go anywhere else in the area to get our Chinese! Golden Place is hands down the best place to get Chinese in the Akron/Canton/Tallmadge area. And really...
