Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Tampa

My recent Chick-fil-A experience left me thoroughly impressed and satisfied, as every aspect of the visit was nothing short of exceptional. From the welcoming customer service to the delectable fresh chicken sandwich, peach milkshake, and hot, fresh fries and nuggets, every detail contributed to an unforgettable dining experience. Even with a packed drive-thru line, the efficiency and speed with which my order was handled further added to the delight of the visit.

The hallmark of my Chick-fil-A experience was the outstanding customer service. From the moment I pulled into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist. The staff's friendliness and professionalism set the tone for a pleasant and enjoyable meal.

My wife and I have some issues and concerns pertaining to our visit to the Chick Fil A location in South Tampa. We went to the location near the intersection of Gandy Blvd and South Dale Mabry in South Tampa on 06/01/2021. We went through the left lane of the drive through and were told breakfast was over and lunch was being offered.

My wife ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal with a medium diet lemonade. She had gotten it there in the past (pre- COVID days) and enjoyed it. I ordered a regular three piece chicken strips meal with a diet root beer (no ice).

The attendant repeated our food selections to us and I provided my credit card for payment. He scanned my card and proceeded to complete the transaction. I inquired about my receipt and was told to drive on up and the woman at the booth could provide it.

We drove up to the booth and the woman printed out our receipt. I thanked her and drove up to get our food and drove away in search of a shady spot to eat our lunch.

So far so good (or so we thought). Upon opening the food bags I soon realized that my chicken strips were not the regular chicken strips but rather spicy chicken strips. I am unable to eat any type of spicy food so my only recourse was to walk across the street and ask about the mix up on my order.

When I told the folks at the drive through window that I had received spicy chicken instead of what I ordered I was told "Oh, we stopped carrying regular chicken months ago. We only carry spicy chicken".

I was floored!! I said I was not told that when I ordered from the drive through attendant. I also let her (and the manager who was the one who told me they no longer carry regular chicken strips) that I do have reactions to any type of spicy foods.

The manager's response to me was that yes, I should have been told, You think!! Even after repeating our orders back to us it was never mentioned that the chicken fingers would be spicy.

Not only was my food order incorrect, my wife also noted that the diet lemonade she ordered that different. We realized that the lower half of her lemonade contained pulp. In all the times we have been to that Chick-Fil-A restaurant she has never had lemonade with pulp such as she had today.

We are very disappointed. To omit informing a customer what is and is not available and then repeating it back to the customer, (not specifically informing them that this store has opted NOT to carry the regular food selections normally carried by many other Chick-Fil-A's is wrong and not the way to do business.

Hey guys, so today i just had a hankering for some chic fil a, now normally i don't review fast food restaurants but because chic fil is the standard in the fast food game I decided to nock one out today....so here we go...

Chic fil a

Ambiance-B+ The restaurant looks in overall well condition...and for a fast food chain this location does a great job keeping up the cleanliness of the establishment...while i did notice a few paint chips here and there on the walls that were sighly...overall the decorum is modern and windows well maintained and spotless. Also the fresh flowers on each table is a nice touch.

Menu options-A

They serve chicken Sandwhiches, salads and wraps...all having chicken in them.  Fried or grilled.  The only other varieties you'll see mostly come at breakfast with other non chicken options available then.  Chicken strips, nuggets and fries round out a simple and non confusing menu.  Also there dessert opptions are simple and jusg perfect for what this restaurant does...the only hard choices you may have is what type of shake do you want......

Normally for chic fi la it would be an A+, but today the person who brought me my food didn't seem as pleasant as chicfila standards I've become accustomed to.   But the overall attitude of the staff really made up for it.

Appearance-B+ Both of my sandwiches were appetizing and the biscuits looked fresh.  My only ding is the egg they serve has a yellow color that doesn't look like a fresh cooked egg.  The wrapping is excellent in the way it keeps the sandwhich warm a little longer than most fast food places.

Taste C+

The sausage egg and cheese biscuit was everything you want the sandwhich to be...soft biscuit, Awsome quality meat and cheese...but the egg could have been better.    Overall a great sandwhich.  The chicken biscuit was uncharacteristically sub par.  That biscuits was dry and almost made you cry with joy that you have something to drink to wash it down.  And the chicken breast was dry...yes I've had many juicy sandwhiches from here..but today it was dry.  Dang.  But they did replace it with a fresher one....but my rating will have to be based of the first one.

Overall- B+

Today this is good..but expext more from chi fi la.   They have set the standard when it comes to fast food done right and customer service...so this review should have been better in some ways.  This particular location must watch that every sandwhich they send out is upto par with last one.  Over all good...
