Blackjack Pizza & Salads — Restaurant in Tampa

The Pizza is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! The wings are really, really good as well!!! I usually dont order things like ice cream or any desserts for that matter from pizza spots, but their homeade ice cream was surprisingly really good. My kids LOVED the cheesy bread and cinnasticks. My vegan sister had their salad and really enjoyed it, which is very much a compliment cuz she is super picky. The staff is sooooo GREAT!!! Weve eaten there a couple times since they recently just opened I think around November. We have had it delivered and have picked it up. The staff is always on point when it comes to the order being correct. They are all very friendly and really welcoming. Now last night I ordered some pizzas 🍕 for a slumber party. My pizza didnt show up untill 20min after they said it would be delivered. But I always know any pizza place especially on a friday night, especially in the heart of South Tampa during 1 of the busiest times of the year due to it being Gasparilla time, is going to take a little while longer then usual. That was the only time its taken them that long 2 deliver pizza to my house. I still tipped the young lady 20%. If I could rate my past two experiences a zero star, that would be a gross understatement. The delivery staff and managers on site we’re never helpful. Our previous order, took three visits to bring missing items from our order, and they still forgot an item. At that point, we chalked it up to a busy Saturday night.

This evening, we thought we’d give this local business a second chance, and I greatly regret it. When my 75 year old mother-in-law arrived to pick up the order, they had no record of our order in their system, then after further review the manager stated, “That order was already picked up by someone with the same order, and name, Anne.”

When I called back to complain, I told the manager how frustrated we were with the process, and that they lost a customer (my kids love your pizza), and she hung up on me.

If this is how you run your business, then you’ll no doubt lose other customers. I would take a deep look at your staff, and how they represent you as owners. As local consumers, we go out of our way to support local businesses, however, we’ll no longer recommend you or your food to our friends and family, which is a real shame as we’ve always...

Had my eye on this place and met with the staff about a year before the pandemic. It was great pizza and service then and i am so happy they have retained and exceeded my expectations in those regards. The staff and managers are always available to answer questions by phone, the delivery is fast and they listen to handling instructions. The pizza is just great, and im going to tell you right now of you are on keto and need to have pizza this is the place to go. You DO NOT UNDERSTAND what this place is providing for people on a low carb diet in this area of town. There isn't a delivery service, app or in store that can serve a pizza suitable for keto and while people might nit pick the crust they use based on certain metrics I have had great success incorporating delicious pizza while losing weight and say its an amazing dirty keto option. I have been and will continue to order the cauliflower pizza every weekend.
