Cigar City Brewing Brewpub & Taproom at Tampa International Airport — Restaurant in Tampa

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We were traveling from Tampa to Baltimore last Saturday and wanted to eat lunch before we boarded the plane. We had 90 minutes until we had to board our flight, and there were 2 people in our party who did not receive their orders. Our son, who is a CHILD, did not ever receive his cheeseburger and when we asked the bartender about it he didn't apologize and replied, "Oh he didn't receive it because I didn't put it in. I put your pretzel appetizer in". To reiterate- a CHILD was denied lunch at this establishment. The other two people who did not get their orders in our party also did not receive an apology but did receive an eye roll when the server had to redo the tab so they didn't pay for the food that they never got. It was just an absolutely horrible experience, and I'm writing this review so people do not waste their time patronizing...

The burger and beer cheese are among the best I've had, and damn good for airport dining. Having never been to any CCB location before, I got just a plain burger with the beer cheese on the side with some fries. I ended up pouring the beer cheese on my burger - flavorful with a bit of a kick. The burger patty itself was surprisingly well seasoned. Most of the best burger and steak places don't season their burgers & THIS place does. Perfect amount of salt and pepper... I didn't need to do anything to it - adding the beer cheese was just a bonus. I ended up getting more to dunk the fries in. I seriously considered taking another order to go so I could eat it when I got home!

Out of all of the options in C terminal, this was the best, and I'm glad I stopped here on my layover. I'll definitely do it again next time I'm coming through the...

Shout out to the male bartender who took over—professional and on point. But to the thin blonde waitress with the sketchy attitude, acting like she's coming down from snow or geeked out on it—yikes.

As a former bartender of 18 years and now a commercial insurance broker, I’ve seen it all. This place? Trash service. Decent sandwiches. That’s about it.

Not all minorities are bad. Considering the owner is Lisa is Hispanic; sort of shocked your staff is unprofessional like that.
