Square 1 — Restaurant in Tampa

It’s such a sad place where employees really don’t care. I asked if the chicken tenders are real meat or chicken. I was told they’re real meat. They aren’t, and most likely the guy at the counter didn’t even understand what I was asking. Service is slow and a person who was there before me complained about it and wanted his food. Counter guy immediately refused to take responsibility and said it wasn’t his fault, like he has nothing to do with it and didn’t even ask kitchen where the food was. He really doesn’t care that he’s the face of this restaurant and because he’s at the front of the house he must handle any and all requests, complaints and has to make customers happy. The guest wanted his money back and he was refunded without them saying sorry, or trying to make it up. By now there were two at the counter but they both deeply and truly can’t care less. I guess it’s a shit job with shit pay with employees coming and going continually so...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience here was bad enough to warrant one. We ordered two egg and cheese sandwiches with tater tots, but after waiting patiently for a while, we noticed that orders placed after ours were being called. When we approached the staff to check if we missed our number, one employee told us they hadn’t called ours yet. However, when we tried to ask for more information, the staff member who took our order seemed to ignore us while speaking to the chef and didn’t provide any helpful communication. It felt like we were being brushed off without any attempt to resolve the issue. We ended up leaving and going to Starbucks instead.

While we understand that this restaurant is located in an airport and we shouldn’t have the highest expectations for food, we still hope that employees are kind, understanding, and willing to communicate with customers. Unfortunately, that wasn’t our...

I tried to order a breakfast sandwich which clearly states Breakfast Sandwiches served until 10:30am. Served on an English muffin with crispy tater tots. However when ordered the cashier was trying to charge me for the tater tots. When I tried to explain it says comes with she would not listen and refused to place the order unless I paid for the tots. I asked for manager none available when I went to another location in same area explained situation he said yes you don’t pay. She still refused. Another worker was at cashier and I asked him he agreed with me but cashier still refused and was very rude about it.
