Flexx Sports Bar & Ultra Lounge — Restaurant in Tampa

I am an out of towner visiting from Houston, so this review is for everyone who does not live in Florida. First, I must say, this is not an upscale establishment, so if that's what you are looking for, this is not it. It is a sports bar just like it says. With that being said, the service we received from Ashley was a 10/10. Request her if you go. As soon as we walked in, she greeted us and asked, "Will we be dining in?" We said yes, and she said I can seat you or you can sit wherever you want. We then chose the table we wanted to sit at, because most tables were empty, and this was about 8:30. Ashley was attentive until we left, and she had such positive energy. She is seriously in my top 5 best customer service at a restaurant/bar. Something I am not used to at this "type" of establishment. (IYKYK).I thought it was just Ashley with excellent customer service, but Mimi was amazing as well. She was serving the table next to us, and her energy and customer service were just as amazing! So much so that I noticed her serving other customers. She even blew the whistle when she brought shots out for a girl who was celebrating her birthday next to us. This was not a bottle service. Next, the food we ordered, which was a burger, was actually top-tier. Great taste and juicy. Finally, here's some things to know: They play good music but it's loud. If that's not your thing, don't come. You can sit at a table on a Friday, as long as you come before 10. Something else I am not used to. I'm used to every table in the establishment being reserved and/or a 2 hour limit. They have happy hour on Friday until 10. The drinks were 2 for 1 wells and $2 off top shelf. Overall, I will be recommending Flexx to any of my friends who visit Tampa and look like me. We had a great time. Ladies, I wore flats. There were a few women with heels, but most wore sandles and/or tennis shoes. Other things to know, it's free before 10. After 10, the cover charge is $10 or more. This video was taken at 11. I came here with family last night the dj was good and it was a nice vibe. We did run into an issue with one of the waitresses, she was rude and had poor customer service! We were apparently in a walking path for the workers and needed to move. Instead of her asking us nicely she said “ y'all need to move out the way” we initially didn’t move because that’s not how you talk to or treat customers. When we didn’t move she ran off to go get someone who never came. When she came back we told her she shouldn’t speak to customers like that and she ignored us and walked around. We did move and when she saw us for the rest of the night she rolled her eyes and had a nasty look on her face. I did not catch her name but she was a short dark skin girl with thick top and bottom lashes, she also had a red bow in her hair. When being in this industry you should know how to speak to ppl and have good communication skills. She was definitely slacking and I hope she fixes it ASAP. I would go back because we had a nice time other then that but I hope to not have to run...

This club is bias. I’m ask All African American, Caucasian, Mexicans, all nationalities. Stay away from this club. I’m all about peace. If a female say you follow her to the rest room and you was sitting down. How in the hell you follow here to the restroom. You spend $400. And was put out for no reason and the own said he will take care of my bill. Then didn’t address the real problem. You were excused of something. If you been in this world for a long time and if you didn’t want to buy a lady a drink when she ask and you say no. Then who is wrong? Please support other business… boycott please. Military folks from Mcdill and other veterans please stay away. All American stay away. This is the worries experienced I ever had. Don’t go to this bar.
