Everything about this place—from the atmosphere to the drinks—is absolutely perfect. This has become our regular Saturday spot, and we couldn’t be happier.

A HUGE shoutout to our amazing 'kavatender', Chelsie, who consistently brings such uplifting energy to the space. She is knowledgeable, welcoming, and always a friendly face behind the bar. The first time she served us, she took the time to walk us through each type of drink, helped us figure out our likes and dislikes, and even set us up to play some vintage Super Mario World. That kind of thoughtful service and genuine hospitality make every visit even more enjoyable.

The owner, Dani, has cultivated something truly special—a space where anyone can walk in and instantly feel at home. The entire team has created an atmosphere of connection and relaxation. We’ve brought friends and family from all walks of life, and every single one of them agrees: this place is something special.

Kava Culture has a little bit of everything. If kratom or kava isn't your thing, they have a variety of teas or coffee from Buddy Brew. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is more than accommodating. There is plenty of space inside and out on the patio, along with every game you can think of. It is the only place I know of in South Tampa offering free community events every day of the week. With so many watering holes in the area, this place offers an alternative to those who don't want to spend days/nights working on a hangover. It is a great addition to the usual shops on Gandy.

Well I guess the drinks can be considered food! Everything was amazing here. I had never been to any place like this. First of all it is just a cute fun place! Everyone seems happy to be there. I love the outdoor space too. There is something for everyone including families. It is nice to have a place for everyone to come together in a safe environment whether you want to play pool, make new friends or meet up with old friends. They also have different activities you can join in on each week. I was totally ignorant on the drinks and the tenders were so helpful getting me the perfect combination just for my taste.
