Kipos — Restaurant in Tampa

Their large portions are so small. I paid $15 for some chicken and a small salad. The salad is the hpm salad and the guy that works there asked me if I wanted a smalll or large and I ordered a large... I received an extra small. The chicken was horrible, the salad was soggy. The tomatoes were old. Not worth the money. I had to order a pizza from another place after spending $15 on this small plate. Also I am Mediterranean and this is nothing Mediterranean. I decided to give it chance even though every time I go to armature works there’s no one ordering from there and I wish I never ordered either. Absolutely horrible, waste of money and a disgrace to the Mediterranean food. That’s why there’s never anyone ordering there.

Okay, so I decided to give this place another chance. And honestly I regret it!!!! Let’s start with the fact that The service is horrible! The female servers were rude and they looked miserable. I ordered a chicken plate with extra chicken and tatziki. I went to pay and my card wasn’t working so I went to try 3 different cards, and none of them were working. The server was starting at me in a very rude way and just waiting for me without saying anything. Until the guy (the only competent server there) decided to tell me that it’s their server that is messed up and not my card. So she switched computers and my card went through. So now, the food…. Let’s just say I paid $32 for the crappiest food. I literally threw it away. The chicken wasn’t chicken it was only the skin. The tatziki was $5 and it was probably 2 tbsp. I had to complain in order for them to give me some more. The salad had a HAIR in it!!! I would like to say that you need to hire people that are actually happy to be there. If your servers are just standing there to collect a check then might as well get rid of them. The two females servers are horrible and definitely need some manners training. The guy is the only good/competent server there. Anyways, I ended up throwing my food out and ordering bento. What a joke of a place…. This is a disgracing to us...

My review style is typically, if I don’t have anything nice to say, I don’t say anything at all…but after wasting $60, I figure it’s worth letting potential diners know. I was drawn to Kipos for their Fries topped with tzatziki and feta…if I had just gotten that, it would have been perfect! The fries were good and so were the toppings. The woman working said I could have the fries as a side to the chicken plate. Now, I’m not sure what kind of chicken this was but I expected chunks of chicken breast. This seemed like a chicken “product”. Like maybe it was processed into sheets and then layered together. I’m not sure but it was disgusting. We ordered the Chicken plate with salad and it comes with cold orzo salad, not rice. A side of hummus and an extra side of pita. Two canned sodas. It was $58. I would not recommend anything but...

Don't usually do this sort of thing- but for a public service announcement here goes... pass this kiosk up! $50 for two crappy salads atop a disheveled order taker glued to her phone like she was doing us a favor. Wow! One of the salads had the chicken which is of the lowest level of quality - fatty, greasy, nasty. Zero white poultry... Threw it away. Terrible ingredients, bitter yellow lettuce. And they just left the order out on the counter without communicating the order was ready. Owner Manager do not comment back. Your product and service is the worst- and it is unfortunate for the customers that you are making huge profit margins off the location and captive audience at Armature Works. Zero...
