We have been here costumers since 2019 and what we experienced last Sunday (Mother’s day) was totally unacceptable! We ordered 3 big bowls for takeout and spent ~ $55 with add ons, we received 3 small bowls, 3-4 ingredients where missing in every bowl, 2-3 spoons of rice only, no avocado, no onions, no second protein…the fish was warm and on top we got burned broccoli instead of roasted broccoli, the burned flakes where thinly dispersed in the whole bowls. I called the restaurant after being at home and they didn’t care, no excuse, no explanation, just told me come back and you can wait for another bowl. I couldn’t come back bc of our little baby and I just got a phone number to call. Ruined Mother’s Day dinner and no excuse - wow!! I wrote via IG and someone was taking care of my issue and I thought they care seriously about my issue and told me to send out vouchers for our next visits. So, far - so good! I received today 2 vouchers each $10 dollars, each is usable for one costumer. Sorry, but this is outrageous! Spending ~ $55 for nothing and getting $20 bucks! This is not what I expected! Is this the way how you want me to come back again?!? Seriously? Never again!

I'm all about clean eating and poke is such a go to for me as a replacement for sushi. I love things that are low carb and high protein - leaving me with a fresh and light meal. This is just that. I'm giving only 3/5 starts here today because this poke is EXPENSIVE for what it is. The brown rice is extra, the meats are limited in portion (very few raw options, most are cooked), and then only 3 toppings. I usually like to load up my poke bowls with lots of veg and toppings in order to supplement the poke and make it more of a salad bowl. However, I did like the roasted mango topping that I got, and the fact that the tuna was fresh (I got raw tuna and salmon). The ordering is pretty streamline as well because you just mark what you want on a laminated menu, and hand it to the cashier. They hand you a buzzer/pager when you pay because they take a while to prepare it even though its just down the buffet line to assemble. I'm not sure why they do that. Probably would choose to explore another option at this food venue.

I was in Tampa for the day and really wanted some sushi. Browsed the menu and reviews and knew I had to check this place out. Really cool location on the water in a big market full of shops and bars and other restaurants. Great menu. Really self explanatory. Rolls. Bowls and burritos. Awesome tea. My friend got the tarro with Jasmine and it was divine. She got a bowl and I got a burrito with some nigiri. We both did build your own. And sat by the water. Really liked everything we ordered and the girl who took our order was very nice and gave us great recommendations for our meal too.

I give this place a one for many reasons. While the food is on point and food....not excellent but good, the food is only good when they are not busy. Several occasions I’ve come and for some reason when ordering both hot food and sushi they cook my hot food first and then allow it to sit while working on the sushi. I’ve also had sushi with a hot temp years mix on top that has been cold oily and chewy. I don’t mind getting g my food as it comes out but fir some reason they continue to do this. Was in a wwwk ago and the food and service were so bad that I watched many people returning their food as well as myself. They wanted me to wait to help the people in line and wait to get a refund, which they had difficulty in doing because I paid cash. Why should I have to wait....I already waited fir bad service and cold food. I wrote then an email explaining how I enjoy eating there but after a few poor experiences in the past I refused to pay the high prices fir the cold slow food. I thought they would have emailed me back with an apology or an explanation, I never received a response which leads me to believe that they simply don’t care. I’m almost certain that zukku is owned by the same proprietor of many of the other food In armature. Needless to say, I will not return or support this...
