McDonald's — Restaurant in Tampa

I don't mind waiting. This was simply ridiculous. I was asked to wait at the drive thru marker. I waited, granted I was absentmindedly on my phone working through other things. I noticed another car in the other marked space. I had already been waiting 5 minutes. They ordered much more than I did (based on the 3 bags they were given). They received it prior to me. Again I'm fine with waiting, maybe they have to slaughter the beef & the chicken in order for me to get my food. Then another car pulled into the other marker. This is now 10 minutes. They also received their food prior to me. Thankfully I got the attention of the food porter and she said she would check on my order. She went back inside. Instead of coming back out with my food, she had the bag of food for now the third car in the second marker. This is at the 15 minute point. This other car, ALSO got their food before I did. Only ordered some "dollar" menu items. Maybe I'm not worth the business. I continued waiting to see how this would pan out. Again I have been doing other things on my phone, and I'm in no real rush. I finally received my food after many other cars after me, but I only got half of my order. Reluctantly I went inside. I see a short staffed team and a manager trying her best. She went to get me my other half made fresh. The food porter noticed a bag. It was my full order. I ended up with more food. Unsure how long the food sat, but it was chilled. The order was correct. I was going to rate a 1 star at first, but I'll leave it at a 4 since I know mistakes happen, and there was going to be an attempt to make it right. I was in no rush.

Every time that I go here, which is quite often as I do feed the homeless that hang out nearby. They never have the other drive thru open. They only have one of the drive-through that they answer to instead of the other side. But the most annoying part is the fact when they feel like actually taking an order. You can sit there for five minutes and they don’t say anything. One time we sat there for six minutes and drove around the building and went back and they finally said something. Another time my husband had to knock on the door, asked if they were open and they said no. We called back the next day and they said no we are open 24 hours. So we ended up just going back today and we went at 9:52 PM sat at the drive-through for 10 minutes as there was other vehicles. We noticed the vehicles were tooting and yelling. I explain to them that they usually only have one drive through open. So it was our turn to roll up and we waited for five minutes and again nobody answered. My husband knocked and they said that they were closed. Mind you there was a girl with a hoodie on her head sitting and play on her phone. All the lights are on outside and inside. There are people all hanging out in the kitchen. And they supposed to be open! So at this point, I will be calling corporate! Just a heads up don’t go after 9 PM to this location. Update 1/7/2021 I was driving by it, hungry with Mickey D's in mind. It seemed open. There was cars driving through the drive-thru. I looked at my phone for the time and it was 11:57. I pulled up to the drive-thru thinking 'how lucky I made it just in time'. I sat there for the next minute or two, in the meanwhile a car pulled up to the other drive-thru lane. I looked at the car and when I turned my head back to look at the menu waiting for someone to talk and take my order the order screen turned off. That was it. No one coming like 'hey, sorry we're closed'. Nothing. I pulled around to the windows because I had to let them know how rude they were. It really bothered me not to be acknowledged. No one at the first window. No one at the second window. I can see through the second window an employee and the manager. She looks straight to my eyes and didn't even try to pretend like she didn't see me. She just looked and kept it going. As if I wasn't there. As if I was a fly on the other side of the window that she didn't need to be bothered with. So she just kept it going. Not cool. I really like Mcdonald's. I eat it all the time. But if they hire an unpleasant mediocre crew it's gonna look a whole lot like they're giving unpleasant, incompetent service.
