People, I know we don't have much choice for Halal meat but let me tell you that the owner himself is not a honest person when he charges you. He overcharges people especially when he sees new people. There were two incidents I personally eye witnessed. Today he charged Arabic couple $80 for two chicken, 3 trays of cut chicken, chicken qeema and 4 pounds of goat meat. The poor person asked him that does each chicken (whole) cost $10? Mr. Rana replied, "YES". He looked at me with a sorry face. He paid and left. When I asked him to show me the prices, Mr. Rana told me the price list is out side. I did not see any price list and when I asked him, he simply told me, well, this is much chicken cost per pound. In Ramadan, we ordered a whole case of chicken. He cut two packets and hid two packets on the right side of wash basin. We asked him that it seems like this quantity won't be enough . He said, May be you need to order one more case. My friend told him that you just hid two packets on the left side of wash basin.
I know we have very limited choice but be careful when buy the meat. We pay too much just in the name of Halal. May Allah give him...
Read moreBanging Indian Pakistani Desi food at lowest prices of all Desi restaurants I have been to! The owner is a retired couple doing this mostly for fun. It's not a hip, cozy, romantic date night spot, but if you like real good Desi food and naan/paratha/poori, this is the place. Mr. Rana is a well read person and always willing to share a nugget or two about history of the subcontinent, poetry/literature/politics😊. (If you get to know him a bit). They have some unusual dishes to offer like qeema karaylay, saag with maki roti and palao which you don't find other places usually. The chaat papri is a winner every time with contrasting temperatures ,textures and tastes. Mr. Rana and the staff speak fluent spanish and have a casual attitude. Don't expect fine dining level service but a homey one. My go to place in...
Read moreWorst experience I had with this, I bought Lamb kheema here and that was coming bad smell while we were cooking and I called them, there one lady picked my call and asked me to bring the half cooked meat and will give my money back. she told she will show that meat to their meat supplier. I went there in next day that lady was not there and one person there he said I am the owner and we dont take cooked meat. i told him she only asked me to bring but still he was very rude and not willing to give my money back. I am not concerned about money, she only asked me come back . Otherwise I would not have wasted my time and money for this stupid conversation with that guy.
Never ever visit this store, one day you will also face the same situation. such an...
