I eat at Graze about once a month as Armature is a favorite of ours before Straz shows. I will not be back. I ordered the spicy sandwich without slaw. I literally read it out loud as I was looking at the menu while ordering. When I received my sandwich, it contained slaw. If I had been able to remove the slaw myself I would have but it would not have been easy to do so I went up to the counter where I asked if I could just get a new bun as I asked for the sandwich without slaw. The person who took my order informed me I would not be able to get a replacement bun without purchasing it because I didn’t ask for it without slaw. I reiterated that I had asked for it without slaw and they doubled down I had not. My husband was near me when I ordered and he remembers me saying it, I remember saying it, but they refused and said this was my mistake and they were not going to take the blame because the restaurant penalizes them for inputting remakes. I was at a loss and told them that for $20 for a sandwich and tea, replacing a bun seems like an easy win so I can eat it. They eventually said they would make the new bun “this one time.” The service was disarmingly bad. I was truly stunned. Please train your people with basic hospitality skills and treat your customers with some level of respect. The young person serving us should not be in customer service, truly a...
Read moreMy husband and I went there to celebrate his first Father’s Day on Sunday and we had a bad experience with Alison. From the very beginning she had an attitude. We ordered our food and sat right in front where she can see us. We patiently waited to receive our text to let us know when the food was done. Alison was too busy flirting with this guy that she ignored the fact that our food sat on the counter ready for 20 minutes. We never received a text so at first we didn’t know that our food was ready. She didn’t even bother to look to see who’s plate was sitting on the counter. As the cook placed people’s orders on the counter, she immediately called their name so they got there food. We watched her the whole time and kept wondering if that was our food sitting in the counter getting cold but we didn’t get the text so we continued to wait. After 20 minutes of the food getting cold, she looks at us and asked us if that was our food sitting on the counter. At this point we are very upset because she never looked to see who’s food that was. We had to wait even longer so the cook can make our food again. Alison never apologized nor did she care that we had to wait. Very poor customer service. She gave excellent customer service to the guy she was flirting with but failed to even acknowledge that there’s a plate sitting on the...
Read moreOn my recent visit to Graze 1910, I ordered the “Everything Lox Sunny Side Up.” Unfortunately, the eggs were served completely raw. I immediately went to the counter to inform the staff. The manager Helen F. acknowledged the issue and said she would issue a refund. However, she refused to document that the eggs had been undercooked, despite admitting to the cooks that “eggs are coming out raw.”
I requested written documentation of the issue, which she declined to provide. When I asked to speak with the general manager, she stated she would text him. I asked that he text me directly, at which point she told me to leave the premises.
This exchange was both embarrassing and insulting, especially as security then approached me outside the establishment. The manager’s conduct was unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional. It appears she has difficulty managing situations calmly and may prioritize creating drama over resolving legitimate customer concerns.
This experience not only left me humiliated but also raised serious concerns about food safety and customer service at this location. I request that this matter be investigated promptly and that appropriate corrective...
