My card along with my wallet was stolen on Dec 11. I went to the Taos office to report it and get a new card the very next day. The woman I spoke to was friendly and told me it would be ok and to wait 7-10 business days. So today Dec 28 after waiting at least 12 business days I called in and was told my card was never canceled and a new one was never ordered. The woman on the phone hopefully has sent me a new card with a fee for a lost card. How could this be? Why doesn’t the Taos office know what they’re doing? She told me to call in my Medicaid but not food stamps and the woman on the phone said this has happened to her again and again where people called weeks later to order a card that never was canceled and never arrived by mail. The only one person that i have dealt with that deserves 5 stars is Angel Martinez. She treats the clients like family. She does not place judgement upon a person who needs just a help sometimes.
