I really enjoyed visiting this place. I was looking for fresh bread for my corned beef sandwiches and was able to find a small loaf to accommodate my family. The bread was fresh out of the oven and one I purchased was still slightly warm. They also offer danish, cookies and other freshly made items. I visited on a weekend and the selection was a little light and I totally understand. I plan to visit during the week to see the larger variety of things they offered. This location takes credit/debit cards but if you don't spend more than the min $5.00 I think it was, you will be charged a service charge, take cash if you don't plan to spend over the amount. The bread was amazing i was able to eat the soft gooey bread without any condiments, I will not be purchasing bread from the grocery store going forward. Way to run a business! The Baker or possibly owner made my day with his kindness. I went in with my credit card and after several minutes chatting about the choices and the wonderful smell of fresh bread, I narrowed my selection to ciabatta buns, french loaf and a pepperoni roll. He then told me the credit card machine was down and he could only take cash. The desperate look of ‘I gotta have this awesome bread’ may have been a factor because when I said I didn’t have any cash, he quickly offered to let me take the bread without payment. Back in MI Visiting family over Easter 2025, surprised they were open so I stopped forgot they didn’t take charge tried setting up Cash App wasn’t working so on good faith they let me take my 3 loafs of bread and my Apple Danish and said when I had the app set up just send them my payment. I felt Blessed that there is still people in the world that have faith in others within 30min I sent them my payment. I was so happy to take my bread back to NC.
