We came to celebrate my brothers birthday. My husband asked Sarah at the front counter about a package to maximize the experience. Sarah informed us about 2 package however stated there was two events that we could not do (pickel ball and disco ball) due to a vendor event set up happening tomorrow. It was then asked would it be a discount price since two events were not available. Sarah apologized stating there was nothing she could do. The manager Shannon was assisting another customer (next to us) when complete Sarah asked Shannon was there any accommodations Shannon totally disregarding her question to assist us so my husband asked Shannon she said no there was no discount or nothing they could do. As my husband was still talking Shannon rude self started to walk away. My husband said ma'am I have another question she turned and said Sarah will answer your questions and walked completely away. This is poor management and customer service. Sarah apologized again now for the manager and for the fact 2 games were not available.
By this time I'm ready to go and no longer interested in spending money where management is so rude and unhelpful to her staff. No discount no problem offer something for the inconvenience. We drove 43 min to have a great time not to be disrespected by the manager. Of course my husband want to stay due to the long drive it took us to arrive. Hannah and Sarah did a great job trying to assist us and offering other things to do. Hannah was over seeing the axe throwing where she was very...
Read morePathetic christmas display, not worth $5.00...where are all the missing decorations the city paid for with our tax dollars. Tons missing from the old display from Heritage Park. ●●● My review was based on the advertising Kudos and the Mayor of Taylor published which was Kudos would be reopening the Taylor Christmas Village. This display is "pathetic" in comparison to what the prior Taylor display was. If you're going to advertise something, be truthful and forthcoming with your advertising. Just say you're going to bring back 1/10 th of what it was and my review would have been based off that. We all know the truth hurts for liars. For Kudos to use this and the needy as a public recognition marketing ploy is also very sad. I donate and give to the needy all year, not just holidays, and I don't require public recognition for it either. However, thank you for mentioning my donation with your public recognition post, and it was $40.00, not $5. Had I known, I would have rather given directly to fish and loaves and cut out the middle man. That way, I would be sure 100% of my donation would make it to them. Hopefully, consumers will see Kudos true colors in your comments. Don't advertise what you're not going to provide. "Bless your tiny...
Read moreI had a negative experience with this establishment planning my college graduation gathering May 2024. After booking the space 2 weeks in advance, like I was told, a manager Chloe remembered 2 days before my event that the place was booked, and that me and my guests would have to pay an additional $20/person for this wrestling event that has been booked months in advance. Super unprofessional and unaccommodating; I have been to Kudos twice before and was shocked by the lack of organization to mess something like that up.
I've worked in management for years and would not have handled the situation nearly the same; Chloe insisted I move my event that guests have RSVP for to 1 or 2 days later in order to avoid the additional $20 and keep the location, instead of accommodating us by waiving the fee, providing discount for catered meal, or even a discount on wristband, or talking to someone higher than her. Not impressed, will not be coming back. Not fair that wrestling event was made more important than my event when I specifically called months in advance to see how soon is soon enough to book and was directly told 2 weeks. The site should not allow you to book a timeframe someone else has reserved, that should be updated...
