Encountered rude/racist workers at the cafe.

If you are MUSLIM do not go to this Target!

After shopping, my siblings and I wanted to eat, so we went to the cafe. After ordering our food, during the wait, the workers kept looking at us and giving us mean looks. I did not think they were being racist at first, I just thought they were rude. Next, a customer came in and they treated him nicely with a smile. At first, I thought maybe they are just having a bad day, however, they treated the other customers nicer than they treated my siblings and I.

Our food came back really bad! The pretzel was doughy and the chicken tenders were burnt. When I went to say the chicken was burnt, she said "that is how it is, it has a timer."

Wow, never once in my life did I ever receive burnt chicken tenders from any cafe or restaurant. I went and returned the chicken and she did not hand me the money to my hand and just left it on the counter--my hand was out. Then, she left and did not give me the return receipt. I grabbed it. Then she told me, in a rude tone in front of the other customers, "All you had to do was ask me." Her rude behavior and looks were not by accident. They continued to treat us unkindly until the end. WORST EXPERIENCE! That is when I knew they were being racist to me and my sisters because we were wearing headscarfs.

In my whole life of being a born and raised American, I have never felt this discriminated. I am educated and graduated both high school and college at the top of my class. I am knowledgable enough to understand these situations and know what to do when encountering these type of situations.

So, in a calm manner I went to a kind cashier, who I know, and she guided me to the manager. I told the manager of this issue. While talking to the manager, I explained the story while choking up my tears. I did not feel ashamed in any way. Speaking up is the only way to help others from getting the same treatment.

That feeling is the worst and no person should ever feel like they do not belong on an earth that is made for...

I have a new found impression of Target This particular day was very exciting also frustrating. My son had his twins this day and they were early. Which we had planned to shop around and order offline but no..babies give their own timeline of course. So what I was looking for kind of quickly was a double stroller that housed car seats for twins. Simple right...umm no!! We went to one store no one was around to help us even after we asked for an employee assistant. Second store had absolutely nothing close to what I needed. Let's try Target next and hope. This actually changed my whole look about Target. This team made me and my family feel comfortable as Josh Nina and Keon the team staff helped me research what exactly I was looking for. What was compatible and had them in stock. From my first initial question, through check out and to our vehicle this team impressed me.

I bought a air mattress on Nov 11 2022. And bought the extend warranty. On Nov 20 2022 took it back to Target . I was informed they don't refund mattresses so I told her I bought the extended warranty she said I'd have to go on the website so I did was told I hadn't had the product at least one year so I'd have to go to the manufacturer for a refund rip off. Go on the manufacturer's website put in serta which is what set on the box that's not the manufacturer total rip off Target if they're going to sell a product and a warranty they need to stand behind it so now I'm out $100 and I will never shop at Target again. Whatever happened to the customer is always right there's no customer service anymore it's terrible don't shop or buy...
