I have been going to Sonic restaurants for years, and 99% of the time have a good experience, that's why I have been going for years. But 2-14-17 the Sonic in taylor fell very far short of meeting my needs. I just wanted a quick snack to hold me over in the middle of the afternoon so I order a Sonic Mini Blast. Soft serve ice cream and the topping, it should be one of the quickest menu items to prepare. I waited, and watched cars in the drive through pull order and get their food while I sat in a stall. When the order was brought to me, I handed the server the cash and she gave me the blast, then told me, they were out of spoons. She did offer me a straw. If had wanted to wait until the ice cream melted enough for a straw to be useful I would be in great shape. I handed her the cup back and asked for my cash back.
Having been a restaurant manager for 10 years I know I have to do everything to make the customer's experience exceed expectations. First the shelf life of a plastic spoon is measured in years. You should never be out of something like that. Second if you are, call another store and borrow a box, go to Walmart and buy some to use until the next truck comes in. While ordering they couldn't understand me saying pickel fries three times. I get the microphone might not be great but the third time they said okay and I pulled up. Waited for what felt like forever at least 10-15 minutes and they brough the guy in front of me food and it was wrong. They talked for a few minutes and went inside brought them the wrong stuff a second time and he then pulled around to get back in line?
They then brought me someone else's order. Nit a big deal told them it wasn't me they have it to the person behind me and I waited a little bit longer.
Then they brought me my meal with fries and a second order of fries... I told them it was wrong but said no worries and left.
Got home and I didn't even have the second fry. Plus the one I got was soggy.
Never going back as $15 is way to much for a burger and fries anyways let alone the hassle. Also looking at reviews this location isn't doing...

We asked for a large size of the tater tots, and she said we couldn’t have a large size. We understood, and we didn’t check whether that was true or not. But on the screen it said “dill groovy fries”. We specifically mentioned that we did not, in fact, want groovy fries; we wanted tater tots. The girl taking the order said, verbatim, “We can’t change that maam, it just looks like that.” Like, ok? Nevertheless, we waited for our food for a bit. And what do you know. Lo and behold, it was French fries. AND SO, we asked if we could send it back for the tater tots. The man who took it back was very friendly, and we tipped him because he provided good service. WE WAITED FOR TWENTY MINUTES. We pressed the button to ask where the tater tots were. The rude girl said “oh well bring them out now.” MEANING THEY WERE DONE FOR A WHILE. And dude.
