5 Stars – Amazing Customer Service and Delicious Thai Food Thai Issan is off to a fantastic start! The customer service was top-notch—everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. I ordered by phone and they made the process super easy. Even when I was running late (and couldn’t find my car keys), they gave me a friendly reminder call and were totally understanding. That level of care goes a long way! I also really appreciate that their prices are more affordable than other spots in the neighborhood—thank you for keeping it accessible! Now for the food: Tom Kha Soup – WOW. Easily in my top five of all time. I order this dish often and theirs is rich with coconut flavor, perfectly balanced—not too sweet—with amazing fragrance from fresh herbs. The mushrooms were great, and they were happy to accommodate my special request for light onion. 1000% recommend this dish! Mango Sticky Rice – A few bucks cheaper than other places, but just as good. The mango was perfectly ripe and the rice had a great texture. It could’ve used a touch more coconut cream for my taste, but if you like your sticky rice on the less-sweet, more natural side, this is for you. Pad Thai – Solid. Nothing especially standout, but it hits the mark if you’re in the mood. Chicken Satay – Loved that they included two sauces! The curry seasoning was good, but I prefer my satay a bit more tender and marinated—it tasted more like a grilled chicken entrée. Still enjoyable, just a different style than I’m used to. The space is cute, welcoming, and easy to get to with convenient parking. A great little gem whether you’re local or just passing through. I’ll definitely be back!

I'm so sad to make this review because the first time we went here in person and had the house special Kaopiek soup, it was all amazing. I became pregnant and so sick, a nice clear broth soup sounded perfect, so I ordered pick up. When I got home, the soup was the consistency of gloop, like chewy noodles sitting in hair gel and my husband said the pad thai was awful. We called to see if there was something they could do to make the situation better and instead we were told "so what are you going to do about it?" And we told them we couldn't come back, it was too far, we just wanted to let them know (business feedback is usually helpful). And then they put the cook on the phone. We told her the same thing and we were lectured that this was how it was supposed to be. We tried to explain that we had it before and it was NOTHING like this. But we were met with no sympathy, even after driving 20 minutes to pick up and pay for a soup that made me want to puke. Soup should not move like jello, even being piping hot, in any culture. If this is how they wanted their soup presented, then there should be consistency, and usually telling a customer that they are wrong, will turn them away. So sad, because we could have been serious repeat customers, but no more.

I have been coming here for years however hadn’t come for a bit. I ordered the same as always a green papaya salad. We did take out. When we got home I noticed it to be about a 1/4 of the size it used to be. 1/2 of it was a few pieces of iceberg lettuce totaling 1/2 a cup at most. The green papaya salad was probably less than a 1 cup of papaya. They charged $14.06. I called and asked when they changed their sizes of which she told me they are new owners in the past year. They are running the business in greed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON NOTHING. I returned the food for a refund. If you need shredded papaya to make your own easy it is only $2.99 lb. Or $1.99 a lb at Rancho Market. So the mark up is way beyond greed. And that is on the high side. After reading other reviews it seems like they have become stingy not caring about their customers. Never again The container in the picture is a small container maybe 8”x6”.

Dated review -2/4/23- Although this restaurant has averaged great and amazing food quality, it is with much disappointment I'm sharing that for the first time from a restaurant in Utah that I have received overt racism in action and in words shared with me here. I was going into the restaurant to order for take out dinner just 2 & 1/2 hours ago. I was first met by an Asian male worker who asked if I was dining in the restaurant or ordering for take out. I told him I was ordering for take out. Then within minutes, a Asian female staff came out to where I was at the desk or cashier area and right away said "If you are ordering out to pick up, you need to go to that area back there and pointed near the door where there was some seats, then go back outside and order online and then wait outside for me to bring your order!" I looked at her and said, What?" Then she walked off. For I had already looked at the website, before going in and there was no ordering online available that is offered . Some caucasian adults seated at the table closest to the cashier area where I was standing overheard the conversation and all had a questioning look on their faces as I looked at them. I said, in a calm voice verbally , "This is wrong ". Then I went to the area near the door entrance and sat for a moment at a stool, contemplating what had just happened. After a brief interaction with a caucasian gentleman, who was sitting with a family member and woman of color, I informed him that I would not eat in an establishment from receiving this treatment. He shared and apologized to me for what I had just experienced. This was the first and final time, I will be in a space/environment that informed me I am not wanted or...

I am going to start off by saying at first I thought I was going to be disappointed because we went late on a Friday and quite a few of the items we requested were out of stock. My Wife was able to get Ham Fried Rice like she wanted and I was going to play it safe with Orange Chicken and our appetizer being Egg Rolls and both were out of stock. So we decided with the Dumplings for appetizer and I decided on the Red Curry and wasn't sure I would like it. So Started with 1 Star experience but then every thing changed so dramatically that I gave a 5 Star. First we got the Dumplings they were absolutely amazing as well as the Sauce they are served with. Then the Entrees my wife loved her Ham Fried Rice, and I can't even explain how good the Red Curry was. It change my opinion on Thai food immediately. My Wife also loved it so much she kept stealing it. I have craved it ever since and will be returning as a regular customer. What topped it all off was 2 things, the presentation blew me away all the food looked absolutely beautiful and at very reasonable cost, I would happily pay more. Last was the guy running the shop, I believe the owner was so funny and amazing service. Only complaint was low stock of food which I understand for Friday Night but it forced me to take a risk and now I couldn't be happier. So there is my long review hope it helps people to...
