McDonald's — Restaurant in Taylortown

The worst McDonald’s I’ve ever experienced. I go on a regular basis just bc it’s close to home, but never again. Today, I went through line and placed order for 2 medium fries and 1 small fry (along with a couple happy meals and sandwiches). I look in bag and notice 1 fry is missing. We were pulled up ahead of the drive through window, so my BF walked up to window bc the inside was closed. The manager told him “I checked the bag, it’s all there. I can’t talk to u at window, u must drive up.” So, I went back around the line and got to the window. I showed manager my receipt and gave her bag of food back. She still refused to give us what was missing bc now at this point she was proven wrong and just didn’t want to admit her wrongdoing. She THEN tells me to pull up to next window to wait, but I knew she’d have me pull up there just to sit and not receive missing food. I refused to pull up until another car pulled up behind me and then I pulled up and as suspected, she never brought the missing food. Long story short, we literally had to call the cops and waste their time to get the manager to at least refund us the money. It was at 4:48pm and it was two Caucasian females that were making such an issue. One had half a shaved head and heavy set, other was smaller with brown hair (they both had on hats, so not 100%). Just giving description in case owner cares to know the type of ppl they have managing their store. Everything would have just been simple if they would have just given us the missing item. This McDonald is a disappointment 90% of the time. I take the drive thru. They have ONE employee who wears a smile, always. The rest are careless. I believe the turnaround is high, therefore the employees are not efficient. They don't listen since they are always multitasking, so the orders are mostly wrong. Even ordering just one L caramel iced coffee, driving away noticing that there is no caramel 🙄

The only time my family decided to eat in, a few months ago, and there were gnats EVERYWHERE! We ended up with gnats in our drink🤢, they were all around the table as soon as we sat down, and tried landing on the food 🤮 I informed the manager, her response was 'yeah, I m about to go on the floor '. There were gnats around the counter area, so most likely also around the food prep station. We cut our visit short, I couldn't even look at the burger after that experience.

This is a very negative review, just know that it is not based on a one time visit. I do understand that mistakes happen, ppl need time to learn. However, when I decide to take my money to an establishment, I expect great customer service, at the very least.

It is a newer building and it has a great location, but much room for improvement. So if you don't mind driving, just go to Chick-fil-A. Your experience will be...

McDonald’s is one of those places I have always loved. For the price and speed you just can’t beat it. However over the last 2-3 years my experiences have gotten worse and worse (post 2020). It’s tough to not be frustrated when there is a big line and your food is still not hot and fresh.

Today I added lettuce to my burger (which is extra) and quite literally got 8 small shredded pieces of lettuce and they were sad looking, not fresh. The table was dirty and the worker lady seemed less than happy to help us clean it 🫠

And now they have removed their soda machines from the public. I don’t know how much waste was experienced by McDonald’s but getting a new cup every time you get a refill definitely seems more expensive.

If McDonald’s isn’t careful people really won’t go anymore. It’s not a health food joint and that’s becoming more important to many people if they can’t at least serve fresh, good quality,...
