The food here is absolutely terrible quality and quantity compared to other Panda Express locations. The food is undercooked, extremely greasy and tastes like they don’t properly clean their equipment. Additionally, for the exorbitant prices, it’s a bit irritating when you order something with veggies in the mix, this seems to give the manager/operator of this franchise motivation to severely undercut the customer on the product. Our orange chicken was soggy, and undercooked, giving it a sharp vinegar taste and a texture like a wad of snot. We also had an order of Broccoli Beef, and the Pepper Chicken in a family meal. We dumped the whole container onto a plate, and out of the entire carton there was 5 pinky nail size bits of beef in the entire carton, the chicken was similar with several nail size little pebbles of what seems like scrapings of chicken from a shredder mixed in with a heavy amount of undercooked greasy peppers and onions. To add to that frustration given the cost of these menu items, the cartons weren’t even filled properly barely making it 3/4ths full. The only two cartons to be filled were the chow mein, and white rice. Both undercooked as well, making them difficult or just downright disgusting to consume. No utensils, no sauces, no napkins (even though they were requested.) but hey you gave us 15 fortune cookies so that makes up for it right? For the price it costs to eat out, you kinda expect there to be some value in it, and if I’m getting a container filled with mostly vegetables, alright I’ll accept the universe telling me to eat healthier, but I also expect to pay closer to the cost of those vegetables, not a premium price. Yes, we are paying for preparation, which means it should be prepared properly, and it’s also expected that a product with a Beef or Chicken in its name and the associated costs attached to them, actually contains those items. I strongly urge corporate to throughly investigate this location, and customers to demand better. This location is a disappointing representation of what makes Panda Express normally a...

I went to the Panda Express in Tehachapi, California on 11/7/2022. When I started eating my bowl of chow mein, rice and Kung Pao chicken my mouth started to burn. I felt like I was going to die. My chest started burning. My mind starting spinning. Dizziness everywhere. I felt like I was going to die. Apparently, the workers there FAILED TO MIX THE SAUCE PROPERLY in the Kung Pow chicken. It took FORTY MINUTES for the burning to finally subside and even after all that, my lips still burned and tingled hours afterwards.
I truly believe the shock of swallowing all that hot stuff, like happened to me, could have possibly killed an older or younger person.
I tried contacting Panda Express. However, they never got back to me. No apology. Nothing.
They also are very cheap here. Meaning, they will give you just a little bit of lo mein, or meat and rice. I've never seen a Panda Express be so ungenerous with their servings. But this place is.
Please avoid this place...
Read moreI love to eat Panda Expess meals. For several years now, my family has been disappointed with our meals purchased thru the drive-through here in Tehachapi. We found all instances where older food was covered by fresher food. We abstained from eating there and went about every 6 months in hopes of a management style change. We are still to this day disappointed. Two days ago, at 5:30 pm, I ordered green beans and chicken in a bowl. On top was either teriyaki chicken or some other form of chicken to fill the void at the top of the bowl. Unacceptable. I have never complained until now. It would appear to me that there is much more emphasis on getting the customers through the line quickly rather than filling the orders properly. I sculpted my visits only at rush times in hopes of getting fresh food. My hopes are dashed. I believe management is responsible for this influence on the employees. How many other customers have...
