Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Tehachapi

We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here this past weekend and it was such a perfect lunch!

We ordered a large cheese pizza, which had just the right amount of cheese to sauce ratio, according to my very discerning and picky eater 5 year old.

I got the unlimited Salad bar add on, which was very affordable. The salad bar was clean and well stocked and I went back for more plates than I care to admit. :)

Also, as a person with celiac disease who has lived in Tehachapi the last 6 months, I thought I knew of all the gluten-free options, but I just discovered that Round Table has gluten-free pizza! I don't believe they advertise it online, and the general public of Tehachapi doesn't know that, so just wanted to put it out there.

I didn't try it this visit, but I look forward to having their gluten free pizza on our next visit.

Oh but just a heads up though for any fellow celiacs, the salad dressings have gluten in them. But that's a corporate issue, not this individual round table's issue.

Round Table also has a rewards app, so it would be good to download it before you go so you can scan and get points towards free food. I was able to type in our receipt into the app after the purchase, but it was a bit more work.

There was also a play area with some games that ranged from 1 to 4 quarters each. And they had a nice sized party room that would be fun to rent for a special event. Maybe we'll come back for our...

This is the WORST Round Table I have ever been to. We have been supporting this business since it first opened but today they served me a raw pizza. Mistakes happen so I called to notify the "manager" and he was the most rude, unprofessional and combative person I have ever encountered in the service industry. He basically said that there's nothing he can do and it's my fault because they set a timer on their pizza so if I like it "well done" I can ask for that next time. I don't want it well done sir, I just want it done. Who wants to eat a soggy, flat, wet, raw pizza? You can clearly see it's raw and extremely thin. I have been eating Round Table Pizza since I was a child and this is not how it's supposed to look. Maybe next time take accountability for your employee's (or oven's) mistake and make it right with the customer. The last thing you should do is blame the customer for your error and fail to offer a solution. Without customers you wouldn't have a job. Now I'm out the cost of the pizza and need to find something else to feed my family for dinner. I will never return to this establishment and I will be reporting this. ATTENTION!! Do NOT come here because if there's something wrong with your order they do not care and will not resolve the issue. This sorry excuse for a Round Table makes the entire franchise look bad. Apparently this is now a take and bake pizza...

First visit here and it was such a disappointment. Everyone was nice, but the food was wrong. I ordered two pizzas and they got the toppings wrong. I was too tired and hungry to complain but then our cinnamon twists came and they were burnt to the point of black char all over the bottom. By this point I was pretty upset because it was obvious they were burnt (black char, crispy, stiff) and yet they still served it to us like that. We asked for new ones and told they’d redo them but it would take 15-20 minutes. We were disappointed with everything and I decided to wait and see if they would be good. I’m so glad we waited because they came out so good and perfect! It was worth the wait and honestly the only reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars instead of 1. I think they maybe need some more training or support. They were slammed with orders so it’s understandable there would be some slight mistakes. I’m open to trying this place again, just maybe not...
