Tacos La Villa — Restaurant in Tehachapi

So on taco Tuesday their tacos are half price so I got 2 tacos, birria fries, 2 tamales, and a large horchata that cost about $30 which I wouldn't say is bad that's a pretty good price. the only problem is that the tamales are extremely bland and dry, the tacos lacked flavor and we're dry, and the birria fries were very disappointing Didn't have much on it and the meat lacked flavor and it was dry. Thw horchata was also disappointing it didn't have very much flavor it was just kind of vanilla only. There were about 8 cars in the drive through and I was in line for about 30 minutes. On a positive note the employees were very nice and knew the menu very well and were very patient. Overall I wouldn't really recommend it unless you're desperate for Mexican food it's just about as good as it gets for Tehachapi still better at...

This place is excellent. I ordered the surf and turf burrito with a large horchata, both were delicious. The salsa was great too. I’ve been going to La Villa in Bakersfield for years and couldn’t be happier that we finally have one here in town. The seating inside was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly. Don’t listen to the naysayers, they’re the types who will complain about anything and they probably think mayonnaise is spicy. I’m so happy that our little town is finally getting good restaurants and hate to see folks trying to sink them straight out of the gate with bad reviews. We went in on a Friday evening, it was busy, as to be expected, however, the young ladies at the registers were making quick work of taking orders. It was impressive to see how well they made the guests feel like the only people in the room while efficiently moving the line forward. The food was great, everyone in my family enjoyed their respective meals. Our daughter had already gone about three times before so she knew the menu and recommended things for us, which was helpful as their menu is rather large. Not a complaint, just an observation. Lots to choose from!
