Visited this incredibly charming Mill Street Kitchen to create a mother's day basket for my daughter. I was immediately greeted by the owner with a warm welcome and a big smile. Her husband rang up the items purchased at the end if my visit and he was just as engaging. I failed to get her name but she nearly immediately offered me a tour of an array of items and new arrivals in the store. Recommendations for a portabello meal based on my mentioning I'm vegetarian and a variety other wonderful items available. This quaint storefront was more than I expected in the most delightful sense.
I purchased several dipping oils, tea, coffee, rose water, matcha and lavender infused shortbread cookies, apple pie honey, a chocolate spread and pear with cinnamon spread, and finally a key lime pie. I loved the textures and consistency of the pies. Yep, I've had three pies today from here - cherry, key lime and strawberry lemonade. All so delicious. Aside from the food, the owner (I believe?) was super welcoming, and explained all the amazing choices they had, and even savory pies like chicken pot pie. I have to come back for some, with a larger cooler. They do come frozen. They also have more than pies.. You'll need to take the time to appreciate all the tasty options they carry. I look forward to returning to...
