On our road trip out to Vegas, we made it a mission (as always) to find a local coffee shop — and wow, this place did not disappoint! It had great reviews, a cute name, and honestly, I trust any coffee shop that puts this much love into their seasonal menu. One thing we noticed right away: they are definitely lavender lovers here! Tons of their specials featured lavender, which is perfect for me because I'm low-key obsessed with anything lavender-flavored.
We ordered the Bee Happy and Easter Bunny lattes, and both were absolutely delicious — smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness. You could tell they actually cared about the quality of what they were serving, not just rushing out drinks. The Bee Happy had this amazing hint of honey and floral notes without being overpowering, and the Easter Bunny latte was this cozy, chocolatey, springtime hug in a cup.
The vibe inside was super cozy and welcoming — think artsy, warm, and a little bit eclectic, but not in a try-hard way. The staff was genuinely friendly and happy to chat about the different drinks and make recommendations. You can tell when people love where they work, and it definitely showed.
We loved it so much we made it a non-negotiable stop on the way back from Vegas too. Honestly, if I lived closer, I'd probably be one of those people who "accidentally" ends up there every day. If you’re passing through, make the stop — it’s...
Read moreThe coffee mill embodies the spirit of the local community. The baristas are friendly and the food items are crafted with care and creativity. During my day there I had a light roast coffee that was both refreshing and delightful. No cream or sugar needed, but still bold enough to satisfy my enjoyment of a strong roast. I had the breakfast burrito who's contributing flavors included red bell peppers, sausage, and bacon cut thick enough to provide meaningful flavor and texture. However, it was not until lunch that I felt a positive review was not only called for but demanded. I had the grill cheese with pepper jack cheese and bacon. The pepper jack cheese was rich and creamy with a mild spice that anyone without a severe spice sensitivity could enjoy. The bread was crisp and buttered to perfection. The coup d'étate though was the house made pickles. Oh my I am at awe of the creativity. The pickles had an audible crunch healthy kick of spice that pleasantly surprised me. This by far was the best pickle I have ever had. Thank you coffee mill for a great experience and I look forward to...
Read moreWe stopped by on a Thursday, a few minutes after 9am. There were a couple people in line before us, so not a long wait to order. The area you wait in is a bit cramped, especially if you're trying to see the menu that's on the wall. We ended up waiting for our iced coffee, smoothie, breakfast croissant and ham panini for around 35 minutes. There was just one person taking orders and making drinks. There was one other person in the back bringing food out. There were a couple larger groups here having meetings. It created a very tight seating area, and it was not a quiet environment. It was a challenge to hear my husband sitting on the other side of a two person table. I could however hear the individuals in the groups sharing about their personal lives.
The food and drinks were good, but the lack of parking, tight quarters inside and delay to receive our order were a bit disappointing. Maybe our first visit was just at a rough time, but I would recommend not coming here when you're starving - expect to wait awhile...
