I typically donāt leave reviews, but this experience compelled me to share my thoughts. During my 30-minute lunch break, around 1pm, I decided to pre order and pay for dinner, allowing ample time for preparation so my meal wouldnāt be rushed. When I arrived, after 3:30pm, the cashier informed me that my order was still being prepared. I noticed the garlic knots coming out of the oven, and they were burnt. I hoped those werenāt for me but decided to wait it out. After an additional 10 minutes, the employee brought out my order. I asked him directly if he had ensured the marinara and meat sauce was included in the bag. He looked me in the eyes and assured me that everything was correct. I then drove home, which is about a 30-minute journey. When I opened my order, I found the burnt garlic knots and discovered that the spaghetti only had plain marinara sauce. I was understandably upset since I had specifically asked about the accuracy of my order before leaving. My attempts to call and resolve the issue were frustrating, as I was left on hold for over 20 minutes. So, I decided to drive back into town. Upon my return, the same cashier was at the register. I calmly explained the issues: the burnt knots and the incorrect sauce. He dismissed my concerns, insisting it was meat sauce in the spaghetti, which was infuriating. He said repeatedly,ā that is the meat sauceā, to my face. So I'm lying or don't know what meat pasta sauce is now? I maintained my composure and requested a refund. He had the audacity to say he would need to check with the manager but couldnāt guarantee the refund, and told me to leave the food there. Ok, sure, but since when is it ok to call a customer a liar, or lie to them in their face about what something actually is? I was notified of a refund through a quick, unapologetic phone call and abrupt hang up. I was trying to enjoy a simple afternoon, which ended in frustration and humiliation. Even after speaking with the manager, and back and forth conversation with my husband, he had to stop the manager and clarify, āDid my pasta have meat sauce?ā, to which he replied, āno, it did notā. That's the issue! It's great that a refund was given, only after being called a liar and leaving the food at the restaurant for āsomeoneā else's opinion. Despite the price, I would have accepted the order even with the burnt knots. However, to be treated as a liar is unacceptable. I am thoroughly disappointed with the customer service and how I was treated. I will not be returning to this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was leaving the Verizon store nextdoor and it dawned on me that Iād never eaten at Two Brothers before. So I set aside my supper plan I made for myself and decided to step in and grab a slice or two for the road.
I was immediately greeted by the cashier and thanked for entering. I expressed my interested in their pizza by the slice. While I was browsing the available pies in the display the cashier mentioned subs! Well, I know me and Iām a sucker for a meatball sub so when she mentioned meatballs and cheese. I exclaimed say no more! I asked for their small sub, and to my surprise it comes as an 8ā sandwich. Iām not one to question but I donāt know what world an 8ā sub sandwich is a small but with my appetite I was more than thrilled to have that meal!
While I was waiting I was greeted by other members of the team from the back, the cashier and I exchanged some friendly conversation and within 7 minutes my sub was ready for the ride home. Let me tell you. That was the longest 7 mile drive home smelling my sandwich in the passenger seat! Iāve never had bread smell so fresh except from right out of bakery oven!
I got home, dropped the non essentials I was carrying and excitedly opened my wrapper. This sub had girth and so much cheese creeping out between the layers of meatballs. This wasnāt your typical Subway sandwich is 4 meatballs, this puppy had at least 9 or 10 giant meatballs! I attempted to take some pictures before the feast began but I couldnāt resist devouring my sub. Delicious through every bite. Perfect amounts of sauce, cheese, meatballs and fresh bread with every bite.
You can bet Iāll be going back to try more of their menu. Thank your team for an excellent experience and I look forward to telling my friends and colleagues...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been in Tehachapi for 35 years. I have seen pizza places come and go. With places like Old Town Pizza and TKs pizza here, I would say any pizza place would have to step up the game. We have a lot of pizza places to choose from such as Dominoes to buying a bake at home pie from Walmart. I feel like in order to become a successful pizza place in this town you have to have something else. Well this place is just that. We had an extra large half cheese half pepperoni for the kids, large chicken bacon ranch for the the girls and I. Along with a large anti pasta salad, 12 plane wings and an order of bread sticks. I have to say, I am not surprised that they are still 5 stars out of 46 reviews at this point. The salad was better than any other one I've had in this town. The ingredients seemed to have been cut and prepped after my order. The wings, no sauce, were cooked perfectly. Light crunch on the out side, not soggy and fully tender and cooked on the inside. The marinara sauce and bread was on point. Soft bread and light sauce. And the pizza!!! WOW. I haven't been this impressed since TKs pizza opened. This pizza is definitely a run for the money. Lots of toppings and cheese. And for all this food with a tip only $100 out the door. I ordered 30 min away from the shop and when I got there I was created with a friendly smile and my food was in front of me before I could put my wallet back. Still. They have lots more to try and I look forward to trying what they have. Two brothers pizza in Tehachapi is worth the wait, the price and...
