I know there are not may options in the area but honestly if I lived in the area I would make the 20 min trip to cal city and eat at gloria's way better food and service

Came here for a birthday gathering, I'm from los Angeles so our Mexican options are endless.

But Mexican food is my favorite so I'm a big food critic

This place is Tex-Mex and just okay

I ordered the 2 item combo with a chili relleno and cheese enchilada rice beans.

Only thing I thought was decent was the enchilada sauce, c.relleno was not good rice was hard and not undercooked hard like reheated to many times hard. Beans were okay

Biggest issue was the service I get it we had a party of 20 but come on we made reservations in advance you should of planned for it. They were so unorganized we kept asking for chips and salsa which literally they refilled 2 times and we were over asking and not being brought them. Super annoying! When they took our order they did not know where any of the food went ... shocking that's why you take it in order??

My husband ordered first, and was served LAST!! really? And they did not even get his order correct... it was simple NO RICE ONLY BEANS... which mind you the waitress made clear came on the side . When we got there we were seated by everyone else when there was room to put us a lil further so it ended up feeling a lil crowded. Our waitress was very nice and when she was at our table she was attentive but it wasn't too busy and she didnt come to check on our table all most at all. We were in need of refills and more chips and had to wait and flag her down to ask. Our food came out fast but the portions and quality were not so great, the fajitas didn't have much on there but did taste good and the chicken quesadilla was just ok and not that big for the price. The dilla came with rice, beans, and a lil Gucci, the guac was bland, and the beans and rice were barely warm. And we were not asked about dessert, just brought the check. We had to wait and ask for to go boxes, and lastly there was a $5 extra plate charge. I asked about the charge and she said its because we were sharing food and used an extra plate. That is ridiculous because we didn't even ask for an extra plate, she just brought it, and in the end we didn't even end up using the extra plate. Very nice Mexican restaurant in the heart of Tehachapi, as you walk in all the vibrant colors make you feel as if you were in a Restaurant in Mexico. I was greeted very well by the hostess and was given the choice to sit anywhere I wanted given there wasn't many people. They have a full bar which is nicely stocked, my waitress Edna was super nice and informed me well of the food I asked suggestions on. Now, lets get to the important stuff. I ordered the Supreme Fajitas which have Shrimp, Chicken and Steak. Not your usual huge platters form other Mexican restaurants but enough to fill you with amazing flavor. The steak was juicy and tender as well as the chicken, the shrimps were plump and cooked just right.
