Wish I could put negative stars. Now, the food was great as far as I made it. Chips and salsa. They serve a nice tasty mild salsa and delicious spicy salsa along with warm crisp homemade chips. I had a drink made by the bartender Mara which was perfect!!! I could tell she's new and in training, but she's a natural. The problem is her management and very unsupportive staff. In fact I do not even think they have management or a GM. There was a suit who was teaching a new drink to the staff, the Summer Vibe I think he called it. Probably is excellent! With the three servers learning the new drink, the bartender watching, the suit, the guy taking pics of food and drinks and some other girl dressed like a bartender, not one person saw the two empty bud light bottles and untouched chips and salsa waisted by the previous patron sitting next to me along with my empty glass in front of me. I sat there for 40 mins with other employees passing by multiple times. Sadly, it was very slow with only one other person at the bar and a few tables sat throughout the restaurant. Poor Mara did everything, while in her training. No coworkers to help guide her, check on her guests like us servers are supposed to do as a team. There was no management to at least help make drinks and guide her to at least touch the bar top of her guests. She did her best, but a restaurant needs management. Los Pancho needs a true GM to oversee everything and say hi and be welcoming to the guests. I'm sure the food is fantastic like I've heard from many other friends, but with no service you're just a taco shop to go. Now, with The Mexico Cafe in town, Los Pancho's needs to not just step it up, but actually shine and prove themselves. Temecula is a tough crowd. You can either take it as constructive criticism or fail like most restaurants do in this area. Try Los Pancho's for yourself and critique from your experience. With their great tasting food, maybe as guests we can guide the owners to provide a more welcoming experience and less taco shop approach to selling dishes and beverages regardless if it's here for dine...
Read moreMy family and I were there for dinner last night (it was my husband’s bday) we had our kids with us. Didn’t know a super loud DJ would be there. It didn’t bother us too much but by the end of our visit the music got a bit raunchy (not very kid friendly) maybe if the dj turned it down just a bit, the bar side of the restaurant would still hear/enjoy the music and the rest of us families on the other side wouldn’t have to shout over the loud music to try to talk to each-other. The worst part of our dining experience was the service. The food was decent, the house margarita was bitter and almost flavorless, but the server we had. He was rude and rushy. Took our order for drinks and food, and then never returned to check on us or get us refills of anything. We sat there waiting and watching him tend to other tables with larger parties but I guess since we were just a small family of 4 with two small kids, he didn’t think it was necessary to check on us. I normally don’t complain but it was my husband’s bday and he was unhappy because he had to wait for his drink refill that he didn’t get until the very end when he finished his food. The one time the server came to check on us, was at the very end when he assumed we were done and ready to pay. He approached and quickly asked if we needed boxes and the check. That’s not service, that’s just taking the customers order and then ignoring them the entire time and bringing their overpriced check at the end. Very disappointed. Unfortunately we won’t be making the 40 minute drive to eat here anymore. We are always very polite and well-mannered, even if the service is terrible. But this experience was...
Read moreLos Panchos has always been my favorite go to for drinks, delicious food, and the DJ, bartender and service were always great! I actually go every week before heading to get my kids from school. And evenings on the weekends. Until yesterday’s dismissal of customer service towards myself and my kid, I honestly do not know if I wanna go back. Upon our order the gentleman was ok. No extra effort on anything, it was hot and I understand. Until my son was excited to try the shrimp. It came out, and I see all the POOP veins in the shrimp. Every single one. And I don’t know who likes to eat poop veins, but I don’t and I wouldn’t want my kid to do it either. That’s gross. I asked Andres A (the original server) about it, I showed him, as nice as possible I didn’t want to get anyone upset, but mid explanation he talks over me and shakes his head and says “YEA, WE DO NOT CLEAN OUR SHRIMP! So do you want something else?” I apologized, and ordered my son something else, and a nice young lady brought it to us. Andres A, walked by maybe 2 times without a word and never came back. 30 mins go by and we are looking for him to pay. I can see him in the kitchen but never really coming out. I asked the hostess if we could pay, did so and still left an 18% tip. I saw he come out once by the pos system by the kitchen but never once came back for us. No a thing. Mainly upsetting is this I always blast this restaurant on my page and shoutout and tag them, this is the first time in 2 years I’m considering not ever wanting to go back with that type of service and food preparation, and it made my son feel he did something...
