We ordered a Parsons desk, a Parsons nightstand and Dillion sleeper sofa August 9th 2021 for $3405.94. We provided half the money down and were told that due to supply chain issues the furniture would be delayed “a few months” which we of course understood. After taking our deposit, ostensibly to cover the cost of manufacturing offshore and shipping meaning Lazy Boy is running the business on a consumer financed float, we did not hear from Lazy Boy for months like zero updates. I personally called the store monthly and was given excuse after excuse but was increasingly angry that I, the consumer, had to keep calling the floor sales team for updates. They did finally show up randomly with the nightstand in I think February but it was of course defective on arrival leading to a “reorder” situation thus further prolonging this terrible purchase experience. The kicker is after months of calling I was told that they “left a voice mail message but since I didn’t respond the order went to other backlog purchase”. We waited months for this and were out $1700 at this point, I am 1000% certain no VM was received nor was any follow up made until I called, again. I understand we all experienced supply chain issues due to Covid but that does not preclude consistent customer communication and basic customer service particularly after taking 50% down deposit. Fast forward to March and our sofa arrives and it would appear is undamaged (it’s in a guest room that is unfinished until the other furniture arrives). Well finally we got the desk and second nightstand late May and shock of shock it’s defective (I was out of town and my daughter took receipt from a delivery person), $199 charged for said delivery BTW, who left without installing the drawer pulls or identifying the fact that THE DRAWER WILL NOT CLOSE!!!! Having just discovered this after arriving home from a one month trip I am calling for warranty coverage Monday but in reading their coverage it appears office furniture is actually covered by another group? Seriously this was a horrible experience and honestly I would like them to pick up this not inexpensive junk furniture so I can go somewhere where there is some corollary between cost and quality/service. Run do not walk from this shoddy organization riding on an old...
Read moreFantastic and excellent in helping and achieving the furniture we needed for our home. Product knowledge was above and beyond what we had been going through with other furniture stores before coming to La-Z-Boy to purchase. From the moment we entered the store a sale representative was their to ask what we were looking for. First introducing herself as Kate, shaking our hands and asking our names. She not only directed us to what we were looking for, but helping us with questions. Also great, she gave us time to try out furniture and didn’t pressure us and checked back through out all the time we took to pick out what we were looking for. When wondering about a couch and chair fabrics, samples were brought to us or we were shown other furniture that was made with material like we were asking about. We were offered even the help of a home designer in achieving the look we were looking for. We spent so much time in your store looking, sampling furniture to try out. Such patience your store, especially Kate. Offered water or anytime else we needed from all employees. The huge selection of furniture was a plus. We did do a special order on a recliner, but got exactly what we wanted. Everything was explained from beginning to finish on products we ordered, warranty, to financing. Kate stayed with us beyond time her shift was over. The manager took over then and was so helpful in finishing up explaining in detail everything to us. It was extremely nice you were having a sale, but a honor in the fact you gave a veterans discount. I felt appreciation for the 32 years I have served our country. Furniture was extremely well made compared to the other furniture stores we had been to. We left the store extremely happy with our purchases and a La-Z- Boy customers forever. I’ll be passing this information to all the others on the military base I am stationed at now. We have to travel a distance to get to any furniture store, but just going to the best such as this store is a plus in finding great...
Read moreI am going to start this review by saying that I am a disabled proud Marine . I spend most of the day on my recliner With ice And heating pads . It is very important for me to be comfortable due to my injuries from the Marine Corps . I went in this last Tuesday and bought a recliner from Lazy Boy in Temecula . After I brought it home and sat on it I felt it was making my condition worse and was not as comfortable as I thought. I called on Saturday 4 days after I bought the chair and spoke to a manager named Ruth. She told me that they had a 3-day return policy and the only thing I would be able to do would be to exchange it. There weren't any other chairs in there that would work for my circumstances do to the pain and injuries. Most stores have a 30-day return policy. She pointed out to me that I signed the paperwork that says I could only return it within 3 days. I guess I overlooked that and when I told her about my situation she said there wasn't anything that they would be able to do for me. She said corporate has nothing to do with returns and she would not give me the name and number of her manager. I'm letting you know this because I think it was a terrible business decision on their part not to help this disabled proud Marine just because it was one day over the policy. It looks like this store is sending links to put in Google reviews if you go to their Yelp reviews you can see the real truth . They have 2.2 Stars .I personally will never shop there again and will let as many people as know. It is really unfortunate that customer service is this bad and if you do go in there and buy a couch or a chair make sure that you read the contract and know that you only have 3 days to return it. Terrible policy, and once again this Proud Marine will never shop in a La Z Boy...
