I have visited this establishment multiple times and upon my last visit, I definitely won’t be returning for the food. I’ve never necessarily had a problem with their coffee it’s good, however everything is extremely overpriced. Every time I’ve been here for just one person it’s cost me at least $20 minimum. The one scone I have tried was pretty decent and when I went back to see if they had it, they didn’t, however, they recommended me something with the same ingredients. It was a “breakfast casserole” it was almost $10 for one slice and it felt like they had made a bad batch of scones and cut it into squares and sold it. The texture was horrible. I ended up throwing it away because it just did not taste good, I would think this is a one off thing but, last time I purchased one of their sconewhiches and I’m a huge sandwich fan, it was so Moist that the whole thing crumbled in my hands immediately, I couldn’t even pick it up, the flavor was less than good, and once again, I ended up throwing it away. The service is okay, however nobody seems like they want to be there. Today, when I asked the person at the register what was in one of their scones they couldn’t tell me. When I finished my order they didn’t say anything to me so I just stood there awkwardly and ended up just wandering away assuming they didn’t need anything else from me. When my food was finished they called my latte and I went and asked if the food with it was also mine and they replied with annoyance telling me it was, I said thank you have a great day and they ignored me. Once again leaving the interaction feeling extremely incomplete and just bad. I feel that for the price, the experience was less than satisfactory again, the coffee was good and the scones are okay as well, but they are just not worth the money.
Side note: the interior...
Read moreThe Crafted Scone has become a favorite spot for my wife and me, offering a cozy yet crisp modern farmhouse ambiance that's both inviting and charming. The atmosphere is always lively, making it the perfect place to enjoy a scone and coffee. On our latest visit, I indulged in the Brown Butter Vanilla scone, while my wife opted for the Almond Raspberry scone-both were outstanding. One minor drawback is the absence of visible pricing on the menu or in the store. While we appreciate the emphasis on ambiance, a discreet way to display prices would enhance the overall experience. Nevertheless, with a wide and rotating variety of scones, there's always something new to try, and we continue to be impressed by the quality and service. Overall, The Crafted Scone is a must-visit for anyone seeking the best scones...
Read moreHaven't tried the variety of scones and bars displayed, but they look pleasing to the eyes and taste buds! Ordered the Coconut Caramel Latte, and it was pretty good. The employees are all polite and service was quick. Will definitely go back and try the sweets. The Crafted Scone is not limited to scones and bars but also sandwiches. The Crafted Scone is located in the Bell Vellagio off of Margarita Rd in Temecula. It has an outside seating area fenced in and partly shaded.
Update: This morning, I stopped by to buy some scones- blueberry, mocha chocolate, chocolate chip peanut butter banana, and vanilla bean. My, oh my, these scones are delicious, fresh, moist, not dry and crumbly. To my surprise, it was just as moist even the next morning with my...
