FIRST RATE! My eyes nearly popped when the extremely sweet waitress brought us our food.... ohmystars!!! The plates are HUGE!! VERY tasty. But, I mean one order feeds a massive hunger. Thank God she warned us ahead of time and we split one plate between us. There are six eggs in the omelots. GEEZ! And the stacks of pancakes look like plates themselves.... huge lot of food. Even splitting my breakfast...I waddled out the door....
And as to those who have complained on here. MAYBE, if you had better attitudes....I'm guessing. EVERYONE we met was immensely grateful to meet us and MOST accomodating. The key though. We complimented them. And they were then at our table every few minutes to meet our needs. They literally treated us like lost family. Like they had been starved from good compliments for years. (hint. )
Note to customers....treat your wait staff like you APPRECIATE them.....if you want better or faster service. Then, you'll get it. They are human too.
**I found this place to be FIRST RATE. As to the price, you pay for what you get. And frankly, from the moment we walked in....we were treated like royalty!
We were served within a reasonable amount of time, there wasnt a long wait in the least. AND they never let a coffee cup or juice glass even gain appearance of looking empty...they were right there to refill them before we could even ask...and the portions were SO large that even sharing one plate we had more food than we needed to eat..... You cannot put a price on that.

Read moreThis is what you would expect for a crowded high volume generic diner. There is nothing special here. It is clean and the staff is efficient. Food is hot and clean. Not overly greasy. The waitress happily accommodated our egg white omelet request. My first cup of coffee was hot but served in a cold mug and smelled of wet dog. The waitress happily exchanged it for another, which was freshly brewed and hot served in a nice clean hot mug. The coffee itself - this is a breakfast joint after all - overall is weak and burnt, TBH it's terrible but it's what you would expect from an establishment with such a high volume of service in this genre. The egg white omelet was piping hot and perfectly cooked. Just the right amount of oil and fillings. The home fries were obviously made in a rush and only partially brown. They were however cooked through, fresh and not greasy. Much like the omelet, the seasoning was on the low end of salty, which in my opinion is better and more heart healthy so kudos. They also have very good fluffy gluten-free pancakes. The table was clean as well as the condiment containers and flatware. The service staff is HUSTLING but not a lot of smiles, none in fact. They seem overworked. Atmosphere is adequate, real wood paneling, nice lighting bright enough but not too bright. I wouldn't rush to return only because the food did seem a bit rushed. Go here if you are hungry and need to fill...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked in I could tell something was different. Read a few other reviews that said management has changed and I can believe it. We have a young baby, so when we were being seated we asked if we could sit at a regular table instead of a booth so that we wouldn’t disturb the other customers. The host, who looked like he had just rolled out of bed himself, still in sweat pants, said that was fine but the waitress for this other area was still on break and said it would be about 10 minutes. We had no problem waiting. Right as the waitress came back from break about 4 or 5 other tables were sat in her section and when she finally came back we were the last table to be waited on. I would have thought the host would have informed her we were sat first, I guess not. Original Pancake House used to be delicious, unfortunately, this is no longer the case. I ordered the plain Belgian waffle, it used to be made with actual waffle mix, now it seems to be made of cheap pancake mix, much like you would find in a complimentary hotel breakfast buffet. It was also so cold my butter didn’t melt. The eggs were bland as well, not even sure it was a real egg. The waitress explaining they don’t add salt to them because the customer should add the salt. Overall disappointed in the food and will not be...
