This has been my second visit, however my first time actually coming into the facility and let me just say this. AN ABSOLUTE SCAM AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. If I could them 0 stars I would do just that!
The first visit to the location, I wanted to bring my daughter and her friend both 7 years old to come into the facility. I also had my 13 year old niece who was with me at the time. I was told that I had to come in to watch the girls…. Ok, obviously I would do that, why would I leave them unattended? Apparently, a child admission equals a free entry for an adult and if the adult chooses, they too can participate. That again is great, and makes sense.
However, what did not make any sense to me was the fact that they told me I had to pay another $15 admission for my 13 year old niece who had no intention nor desire to play in the play space.
If the logic is free adult or bystander per child admission…. Where is the logic? Before I stated I was the one who would stay to watch the two younger girls, the staff member asked, which one of you will stay with the kids (referring to me and my niece ), implying clearly she was of an acceptable bystander age.
However when I said I would watch the two younger girls, they said well in order for her ( my 13 year old niece) to come in I had to pay another $15 dollars just for her to be a bystander?!? THAT MAKES NO SENSE!
So I said well fine, she won’t go into the play area, we will just sit in the dining area waiting space with me, they then told me it would still be $15 for my neice. I then asked, for what? They then quoted it is California Law that she get a paid ticket because she needs one and she is under age and she needs a ticket to sit in a dining area as a bystander with me. They then said, she can’t go past the gate at the entrance nor sit in the waiting space where you leave your shoes without a paid admission and that if she wanted to wait as a bystander she would have to exit the entire facility and wait in the mall?!!
So a 13 year old is too young to be a bystander in the establishment with me while in the facility, per California law, however is old enough to stand in the mall outside of the establishment unattended?! Make that make sense.
Additionally on my visit today, an employee came up to my child and asked her what is her age and then said oh this space is for kids under 4. Ok, ok, that is fine, policy is policy. What is not fine is 1. The employee talking to my MINOR CHILD and not me her parent who was right there, and 2. The employee saying something to my child period, yet an entire 30 year old woman was swinging on the “toddler swing carousel” like a stripper and twisting and twirling at high speeds for over 5 mins as her husband was pushing the carousel to go at even higher speeds. When I asked the employee why are you saying something to her but not this adult woman, he flat out lied and said I spoke to her, as if I had not witnessed the entire action take place unaddressed?!!
My assumption is that my experience on both of these visits was because my daughter and I along with her friend and my niece don’t look like the customers that this establishment wishes to serve, WHICH IS A SHAME ON THEM! It is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING 🤢
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO UPSET AND DISRESPECTED IN MY LIFE AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY BLACK/ AFRICAN AMERICAN PERSON OR FAMILY PERIOD!
Do not worry because we will not be back...
Read moreI really liked the activities here, however the management and safety is not on par with where it needs to be. There were cleaning supplies (swiffer, spray bottle cleaner, box of more cleaning supplies, and dirty rag) all literally laying on the floor inside of the little kid zone where they can get into it. No one came for it for nearly 20 or 30 minutes or used it so I commented on it to a staff member who said they do that because other days of the week get more busy and it's easier for the cleaning person to have them there when they clean often. OK makes no sense to leave them on the floor when staff isn't even using them but OK. She asked if I want her to move it which yes of course. So like 15 minutes later we go to go to the bigger kid area and the spray bottle was removed and the rag but the swiffer and the box are still laying on the floor in the little kids area still unused with no staff around. Anyways I figure I will let management know later must be an oversight today as they are new. Call and ask to speak to a manager who was so argumentative and continuously made excuses for why they do that and kept saying nonsensical arguments like it's easier for his staff that were somewhere you can't see them cleaning in another area to have them there... right so if the staff is in a completely other area they aren't using the cleaning supplies often enough to need the being on the floor unused for an hour straight. I asked to speak to another manager and he rudely said "uh ya... me" and wouldn't give me a manger above him to speak to. Never expected to have to argue a safety issue that obvious. Anyways watch your kids in the...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment and concern about the behavior of one of your employees during my recent visit to your store. On 5/28/2025 I visited your store with my child and had a disturbing encounter with an employee. When my child asked for a lollipop, I explained that they couldn't have one. The employee, whose name was Jeff, overheard our conversation and made a comment that shocked me. He said, "I would never parent my kid that way." This remark was not only unprofessional but also inappropriate and judgmental. As a customer, I expect to receive respectful and courteous service, especially when it comes to interactions involving my child. The employee's comment made me feel uncomfortable, belittled, and disrespected. I hope you will take this incident seriously and address the employee's behavior. I would appreciate it if you could provide additional training to your staff on maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Talia
PS: Jeff, the general manager was the one who commented on my parenting. Also if you have an issues with the manager, he won’t tell you..who it is that...
