Arepa's Totti — Restaurant in Tempe

First time for the experience. Ordered couple of menu's up front. Was a little sketchy in the beginning because I was looking for a typical restaurant setup and restroom was out of order and it was at night. To be honest, was looking for a different restaurant and ended up here. Did not read any reviews beforehand. Gave it a chance when several customers pulling up in the parking lot...walking up to pick up their online order inside. Customer seemed regular because they all knew what they were doing. It appears to be very organized. I arrived looking lost. So went into the front side to order couple of food in the kiosk. Communication is done through your phone after you place your order. Order didn't take long. Food was packed pretty well. Ordered bottle water and can of Dr pepper. All was packed into paper bag nicely. I was expecting the food to be just okay but turns out...it was DELICIOUS! Need a little bit more rice on the Tiki butter chicken since there was alot of sauce (great flavor) hint...hint more rice please, by the way love the way you made the rice on this order. The other order The coconut shrimp with rice and macaroni was delicious. Great amount of shrimps and executed this perfectly. Been too many restaurants and will only go to places with a great meal and decent price. YES, I would order again, but please fix your Out of Order restroom fast because I'd come back to sit down inside to eat with a friend since price was pretty decent. :) I would've shared the photo what I ate but devoured it before thinking to take a picture. By the way, how come some menus werent available on the kiosk? Other than that....Thank you Tempe Food Court! It seems your name is more...

Honestly leaving 1 star because I can't give 0. The pick up counter for delivery drivers is beyond a disaster. Waited 45 minutes past the time that my order said it was ready to be picked up. When I asked about the food at the counter I was met with two of the rudest employees I have ever encountered. Told the "manager" I had been waiting 45 minutes past the time they said the order was ready and if I could get an ETA so I can let the customer know. Was told the kitchen and them are separate and she doesn't want to bug the kitchen by asking for an ETA. After 10 mins of going back and forth she takes 2 steps back, looks at a TV and tells me im second in line for the order. THATS ALL I WANTED TO KNOW! why argue with me when you did what I asked the first time. Manager leaves and other employee comes over after I sit down and proceeds to tell me "the good thing about your job is you don't have to wait for the food and can cancel the order. If you don't like the job get a new one." WHO SAYS THAT TO SOMEONE? She was never apart of the conversation I was having earlier, she just comes over and puts her two cents in. The implies that I'm racist because I should be ashamed about how I am speaking to a Hispanic woman. Wth is this? She could be blue for all I give a damn. It was a simple question that I had to work for to get answered. I hope delivery companies take you off their list, unprofessional and rude beyond all belief. DRIVERS DO NOT PICK UP...

Don't be fooled by the innocuous seeming exterior of the building, gourmet restaurants beyond your dreams await behind this facade! Your just a kiosk away from hundreds of choices. Vegans delight! I ate in a similar style ordering/pickup place in Vegas called 333 a couple days before coming here but prior to that had never had the experience of this type of establishment. Tempe Food Court gives you the best parts of the choice experience of a food court in a mall without the mall or people and with the added advantage of gourmet food. It is easy, fast, and the food is delicious. I was in from out of town and needed a place to meet a friend who lives in Tempe. She has difficulty with directions and when she called the staff stayed on the phone with her 15 minutes giving detailed directions until she made it. We ate at Solár and my friend had the incredible tacos. She is not vegan and is not experienced with vegan food and she was blown away! I had the chicken sandwich with mac and cheese and pickles and it was outrageously delicious and HUGE! I am a vegan and I was very satisfied and impressed with everything. We also split fries. I would come here next time I'm in town and have recommended it for...
