My family and I aren’t from the area and googled nearby taco places and stumbled upon this one with pretty decent reviews. We hadn’t eaten breakfast and it was about noon when we got there. The staff was super friendly and courteous. The cashier even recommended I try the quesabirria, consome with a side of rice and beans. I went with their recommendation meanwhile my boyfriend had an al pastor burrito and my baby had two carne asada tacos.
I ordered it without onion but once I got my order it had finely chopped onion (I took a quick look inside while he was serving the other plates and tried to just pick it out rather than sending it back but there was so much onion)
I stated “Aw man I ordered it without onions 😬” and he said oh sorry about that and took it right back. My baby ended up eating my rice and beans so I was left with the tacos.
The waiter brought it right back and it tasted delicious! UP UNTIL halfway through one taco I noticed a funny after taste but didn’t think much of it since everyone uses different seasonings. I only ate half the taco, I couldn’t even finish it.
We left to the mall to finish Xmas shopping. About an hour later I started getting chorro 😭 I had to run to the restroom at Scheels! I was in and out the whole time and kept having the feeling of wanting to pass gas. I couldn’t eat anything else for the rest of the day. We got home around 8pm and that’s when I started to feel EXTREMELY sick and burping nonstop 🤢 I was the only one feeling this way.
Finally around 9pm, I started 🤮🤮🤮. It’s now 10:48 and I’m writing this review. THE POINT IS….. EL JEFE , PLEASEEEEE CHECK YOUR MEAT, QUESO OR WHOEVER MIGHT’VE POISONED ME FOR SENDING BACK THE TACOS!! 🌮

First grubhub said my lunch would be delivered between 12 & 12:15, then it changed to 12:15 to 12:30, finally it said by 1pm. Around 12:30 I actually received a call from the restaurant directly telling me that my food had been ready for pickup for quite some time and they had even reached out to grubhub about the driver and were told someone would be there in 5 minutes, 20 minutes prior to their call to me. At that point the gentleman from the restaurant asked for my office address so he could bring me my food personally not only did he do so, they REMADE my food and brought me BOTH orders. As I was walking back upstairs, I get an email notification that grubhub had adjusted my charge and refunded me the tip I had included for the MIA driver. I didn't even have a chance to reach out to them directly because that amazing man who brought me my DELICIOUS lunch had already contacted them and made them refund me my tip (I wish they just gave it to him! Hell, I'd have tripled it for his trouble!!) At the end of the day, both myself AND a coworker had an AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS STILL fresh lunch thanks to this restaurant directly. Some of the BEST fish tacos I've eaten. I cannot thank you enough and you can bet we'll be returning! Also really happy to see you cater because my entire office is going to LOVE your food!!!! Read moreOrdered some sushi for lunch and decided to take my e-bike down to pick it up. This is my first time ordering from this restaurant. When arriving I walked my e-bike in with me to ask the staff about my order and if it would be okay to keep my e-bike with me. Immediately upon entering a woman with glasses and bun on her head began to antaganize me about bringing in my bike. She repeated: "There's a bike rack outside", multiple times before even allowing me to speak with her. I told her that I had a pick up order and didn't bring a bike lock. I apologized for causing her frustration.
She continued to give me a sassy attitude regarding the bike and thus I had to wait outside in the heat while she ran around looking for my order. I waited outside for a few minutes in the direct sunlight with my bike as there were no shaded areas out front. Very disappointing.
When arriving home and looking at my food, it looks like the bag was given a good shake/rattle as my sushi was all over the place and the presentation looked as if two pieces of sushi were missing from two of my rolls. The whole experience just wasn't worth my time or money. Do...
