First time coming to this place and was looking forward to it based on the good reviews, however after coming here and experiencing it myself, I was underwhelmed. My husband more so. We came on a Saturday around 11 so it wasn’t too busy. We were sat relatively quick with menus which was nice, however, our waitress took about 10 minutes before she showed up for our drink orders. She then left to get them for us, came back in 5 minutes with our waters then another 6-8 minutes for our drinks. I got a sangria and my husband just a beer on tap. He ordered the lemon pasta with added chicken and I ordered the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries. Food took another 10-12 minutes to come out. I actually really enjoyed my meal, hence the overall three star review however my husband did not. Said the pasta and chicken were bland, lacking flavor. The sauce was at the bottom of the plate vs being on top. He had to scrap at the bottom of the plate to get sauce with each bite. He is not one to not finish a plate, and he didn’t. He ate all the chicken just for the sake of eating protein. The waitress was nice and easy to talk to but not seen from until we were ready for the check asking if we wanted a refill, though our plates were already stacked and we were obviously ready to go. In the end, our experience was lack luster. Bad service and ok food depending on what you get.

This was a gem of a restaurant . The interior is bright but homey and the place has a youthful vibe to it. I was promptly seated outside as the crowd was light on Monday night. Although I officially had a trainee for my waitress, she was being directed by an amazingly bubbly young lady named Kaitlyn. Generally I cannot remember people's names five minutes after I met them so Kaitlyn was remarkable. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and even offered a taster to find the right beer. The best suggestion she had was to order the half salad half pasta meal. This was a great option because each is served as a full menu item. By ordering halves you get more opportunities to taste something great. This was my experience. Generally I have never liked sweet salads but the Pear Cobb was just the right amount of sweet and savory. Kaitlyn sold it well and it lived up to her description. I chose the Chipotle Vodka sauce with chicken and pasta. A little spicy but very good. As a rule I like to have my salad, wait a bit and have the main course brought out. I was surprised when both came out at the same time. This was my fault for not requesting the delay. Just be forewarned they serve both items at once. Overall a great experience. With her sweet smile and personality, I think that Kaitlyn made this an above average dining experience. Well done all.

First impression with this restaurant! Everything was really delicious. Brussel sprouts served hot and crispy, perfect with all toppings. I’m not a big fan of pork but decided to try their Spicy Asian Pork tacos. Omg. They tasted so good!!! The pork was very tender and juicy. It wasn’t spicy at all for me which is great for people who don’t like spicy/hot foods. Both regular fries and sweet potato fries were hot and crunchy, surprisingly going well with the dish. My husband ordered the creamy mushroom pasta and it was really good as well. The brownie was rich and warm, paired well with the vanilla ice-cream and fresh strawberries. We also ordered red and white sangria and blackberry mojito mocktail. We wondered if they would charge the same price as regular cocktails ($10), but it was only $4.75. (As recommended by our server, he’s right, the red sangria was a little better than the white one.) Everything in this restaurant came in big portion. One more thing we learned was that it took quite long for foods to come out, but it could be the Friday night itself. Our server was nice and took care of us very well. So, I’m keeping all 5 stars as it’s nobody’s fault. We’ll definitely going back again!

Only been here once. We came in about an hour before close for dinner. As a former server myself, I am usually pretty critical of my service if it's not up to par with my personal standards (so this may be biased). The servers seemed a little unenthusiastic but NOT rude. They still did everything they had to do, I just wish they were more personable and charismatic. I do admit that I think they were just tired since it was close to closing time, so I'll give them that.

The restaurant was not busy and we were seated right away. I was pretty pleased with the prices, but they were intimidating at first. It seemed to be pricey in my opinion, but I didn't knwo what to expect in terms of quality or portion size, so I did a half order. Half portion salad and half portion pasta- all for about $13. Our orders were taken promptly and the food was out in minutes! I was on a time crunch which made their timeliness even more impressive and notable.

Anyways, the food was great! Can't remember the names of my items but the salad was so fantastic. My pasta was a little underseasoned in my opinion, but that's only because I ordered something with a lemon garlic sauce and I am all for the STRONG, EXTRA lemony and garlicky taste. And it just lacked a little salt which was an easy fix. I squeezed some extra lemon on there and boom! Easy fix as well! Good food, and after trying, find it decently priced. Want to...

There are good restaurants and then there are amazing ones. This is a rare perfect joint. I generally like simpler menus but I have not yet tried anything here that I didn't like.

Lets start with the service. Always top notch. My wife and I have such a great experience the first time we started going every week. Today was visit number three and we enjoyed our third server as much as the last two.

Now lets talk about the food. Everything is good. They do things just right and do it with care and love and passion. Give the chef a raise!

We had a marsala today which was amazing.

Last time I had a perfect salad. Think it might have been the chop salad.

Everything is fresh and premium quality.

Another visit I had some great tacos. Just the right amount of spice and a very layered flavor combo. I particularly enjoyed the sprouts which gave it a nice crunch. Not sure I would have ever thought about that combo but man they are good.

By far this is the best restaurant in Tempe. Personal opinion is that it is one of the few good ones left.

I'm curious who the owner is and what this person must be like to create such an amazing restaurant in a time where most restaurants just suck. Then there is the unique aspect that makes me wonder more.

If I lived closer I could see myself eating there every day. If you havven't tried it yet, I highly recommend you...
