Honestly, we used to go to red lobster every single year for our anniversary, until about five years ago when we went to the Scottsdale location and had the worst service ever at a restaurant. We had about given up on red lobster, but then I saw the new CEO on Good Morning America and thought maybe there would be a change. At this location, just entering, the doors and windows were dirty, floor was obviously mopped, but there was so much grunge in the grout that it didn’t feel like the place was clean. Most important when we sat down at our tables, the surface of the table was tacky and sticky, and if it wasn’t for my husband, I would have walked out because it grossed me out to have my hands on a sticky table and it is because of the old varnish/surface. I do have to say that our server, Faith, was exceptional, her service was top-notch. She was on the ball. She gets the highest marks, but the food was average, very under seasoned, and the restaurant had that musty, moldy smell when we walked in, but because it was our anniversary and my husband wanted a lobster, we stayed.
However, I don’t feel that we’re ever going to go back if the atmosphere of the restaurants is so depressing, floors seem dirty, tables are so sticky to the touch that they have to give us extra napkins to put on our elbows or on the table so phones and personal items didn’t stick, that is definitely one of the biggest turn offs I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant.
We don’t mind spending some money to splurge on a special evening for ourselves, just for a simple dinner, no appetizers and only one happy hour alcoholic drink. I waited for 15 minutes with no indication of the order coming so I tried calling the number listed on the curbside pickup sign as well and waited on hold for 10 minutes before I decided to just walk in and ask about my order. My order said it was going to be ready at 7:13 and I checked in at 7:15. At 7:40 I was told that my order still had two orders ahead of it so I can just stand near the bar and wait. No apology or expectation on how long it might be or even offering for us to sit somewhere. The lack of empathy was pretty sad considering the inconvenience.
They handed me my jug of iced tea at 7:55 and I had to stand there holding it. It apparently wasn't sealed well and ended up spilling all over my $75 sweater that cant be reordered (it was a limited edition Taylor Swift sweater) and it likely will stain because the sweater is light blue and the iced tea is brown. I finally got my order at 8:05.
To add insult to injury, when I got home extremely hungry and ready to eat, I discovered I was missing items from my order. I didn't receive the garlic Alfredo linguine I paid for, didn't receive the cheddar bay biscuits (received rock-hard toast instead??), was missing the loaded toppings that I paid for to put on my baked potato, and my Caesar salad was literally just lettuce thrown into the container with nothing else to go with it. Oh, and my food was cold too on top of it all.

Read moreOhhh this Red Lobster 🦞 is absolutely Remarkable, Excellent, Superb, just 10 all around shining stars if you ask me. No reservations are needed at this establishment. I think it was Easter Sunday, 2024 . We arrived around 2p at most. The restaurant was not full but there was a 15/20 min wait. We were a party of 8 promptly seated by the host, told who our waitress would be and she arrived shortly thereafter. I'm sure our waitress's name was perhaps Kaylee🤔?? She was lovely and in top of everything. I just felt a tad forgotten for a while when I needed a couple of things, at which point the opportunity passed for me to receive what it is that I wanted bc she'd gotten pretty busy with her other tables as the restaurant began to fill. She did do her best to cater to everyone marvelously. I would still give the service a 9.99999!!!!! Management steps in to help and assist as well. They are really personable here! I'd eaten once at Red Lobster 🦞 near Metro Park a few years ago at most and it was not good at all, the service nor food. This Red Lobster 🦞, however, shows me what I've been missing and I plan to go back, this week in fact! The food was hot, tasty, seasoned to perfection, they kept the endless coming! The 🍓 🍋ade was not tasty but everything else was! 1milli percent.
