FOR THE ADULTS:
My coworkers and I decided to visit the park for some fun, as it was advertised as being enjoyable for adults as well. Overall, the experience was great, but I did notice a few things from my personal perspective. First, the mats felt a bit too small for adults. You often have to shift your weight and adjust for comfort, and the fact that you're required to lie down makes it more challenging for adults to get comfortable. While the mats are fine for kids, I’d say they’re best suited for those around 10 years old or younger. It would have been nice to have the option to sit and slide rather than being forced to lie down.
Once you get the hang of it, though, the slides are a lot of fun! After a few attempts, you figure out how to adjust your mat and land more comfortably. That said, there are no warnings on how to land, especially on slides that launch you into the air—something to be mindful of. I ended up scraping both my hands quite a bit, so if you're okay with a bit of roughhousing, it’s something to consider.
After about an hour, we were pretty worn out but decided to squeeze in one more round to make the most of our 90-minute session. Was it worth it? Yes, but I probably wouldn’t return unless there’s an adult-only night. Give it a shot, but I would personally just go to a trampoline...
Read moreComing from San Diego, I wish they had a Slick City there (we have trampoline parks). I am glad that we had a chance to experience it through the Get Out Arizona pass. It was a 60 min experience, but we were able to do it all since the lines were short. The layout of the slides and the tables were functional. You could keep an eye on the kids while sitting down. Although I was too apprehensive to try most of the slides (I was scared of the height), my kids & my husband tried them ALL. You get a good workout going up the stairs! They even had a zip line, an air court for basketball and dodgeball and a crochet web to climb in. The staff was friendly (Steele made sure he explained all the safety instructions), they had options for food (we got dippin’ dots on the way home), and the facilities were clean.
I did have a battle wound (make sure you keep your elbows in at ALL times). They explained this, but when you’re going down a slide & screaming, your limbs have a mind of their own. So much fun nonetheless! We will definitely be back again next time we visit and perhaps I may be more adventurous...
Read moreAlthough a fun looking place, we don’t get to experience it and I had an awful experience. I made reservations online and paid ahead of time. Upon getting there they had a very long line for check in with no spot for people who already paid. I heard other parents noticing this as well and it was quite frustrating. Once checked in I had to purchase socks because they do not accept competitor socks. There’s another 8$ on top of the 55$ I already spent on two kids. We got inside, put on the socks, and my two little guys were terrified of the slides. I tried to get them comfortable but it was a no go. They did not want anything to do with the slides. I went back to the counter to see if I could get a refund (after standing in the line for another 5-7 minutes) and they told me no refunds but they could give me passes. I don’t live in the area so this was not really an option for me. I left with no refund and being there a total of 15 minutes( ten of which were spent in line). I’m pretty upset to say the least and do not believe it is worth the price overall so I will...
