Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Tempe

I recently had one of the most frustrating experiences trying to order from Pizza Hut through their app. First, the app charged my card, but the order didn’t go through to the store. I called customer care, only to be told they didn’t know why this happened or whether the store received my order. They transferred me to the store, where the person I spoke with confirmed they had no record of my order.

I was then passed to a manager, who mentioned that this problem is common with the app—something I wish I had known before wasting my time. To make matters worse, without even explaining that she was passing me off, the manager handed me over to someone named Gage, in the middle of helping me.

To top it all off, because of the suspicious charge from the app, my card was flagged for fraud and declined when I tried to use it again. Gage took my new card information but was rude about my previous card not going through. He also ran my card without adding a tip for the driver, which was incredibly annoying.

This entire ordeal made it feel like Pizza Hut didn’t care at all about my business. It was so frustrating trying to give this company my money. I would strongly advise others to think twice before using their app or expecting decent...

I’ve been coming to this Pizza Hut for over a year, and I can’t recommend it enough. Blake is an amazing person who always greets me with a smile and goes above and beyond to ensure I have the best experience every single time I visit. He genuinely cares about the customers, and it shows in the little things whether it’s remembering my favorite order or simply taking the time to check if everything is just right.

The pizzas are consistently excellent, with generous portions of toppings and a perfect crust that’s always cooked just right. You can tell the team here takes pride in their work, and that level of care really shines through in the quality of the food. I’ve tried plenty of pizza places in the area, but none come close to the freshness, flavor, and consistency that I get here.

It’s rare to find a place that delivers both great service and outstanding food every single time, but this location truly nails it. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the store is always clean, and the food is always made with care. worst experience ever. I ordered my food through the app, and received a notification that my order was ready. I did contactless carryout so it was supposed to brought out to my car. I arrived at the location, and pressed the I'm here button. 10 minutes went by and nothing, so I decided to call, and didn't get an answer, after the second time I called I decided to walk inside the restaurant, I get inside and after waiting 4 to 5 minutes someone comes out I tell her my name and she looks it up and says it coming out of the oven now, she let's them know I'm out there waiting. 18 minutes later I'm still waiting, and them someone walke out carrying what appears to be my order and instead of giving it to me he places it in the food warmer, since someone was ordering, I had to wait another 6 minutes to receive my order. so I asked to speak with the manager who then comes out with an attitude, I informed him that I had been waiting for my order for a while after the app said it was ready he then says ok and looks past me and asked the next person if he could help them. there is a dominoes 3 blocks from my house and I have been choosing to drive 5.3 miles to pizza hut...
