Thai Elephant Bistro — Restaurant in Tempe

My review is based on the very disrespectful manager May! I order Thai Fried Rice and on my order I put in the notes "no carrots add bean sprouts" (allergic to carrots). I also ordered yellow curry with no carrots. My order was thru Uber Eats. When I received my food there was carrots. I called the restaurant and the Manager May was rude and condescending. Not once did she apologize. She is telling me I need to call Uber. I said the least you can do is apologize for the inconvenience and she said it's not her fault there was no note. I know I put the note on the add instructions line. I asked for the owner and she kept saying I can come in. I asked for owner again and she states she don't know when the owner but previously said the owner will be in tomorrow. She kept going back and forth on when the owner will be present.. I have never had an experience like this before with them but this was bad enough enough me to never patronize their business again.. customer service goes a long way. $40 is a lot of money to spend on food you can't eat especially 8:45 at night....and the rice for my curry is mushy and overcooked. Just went back after to try this again, we had a bad experience before. And now again the two things I ordered were both way over done, just short of being burnt. But they were a pickup order and we didn't feel like going back. So threw them away. Needless to say we will not be going back again. So went back one more time, this time they didn't understand my request I asked for extra tofu which I would of paid for, and asked for the rice on the side so it would not mix in with my food. As a fellow service industry worker, currently doing the delivery side of the business from a separate platform, I was very displeased at the lack of guest service and respect I received from here. I had asked to use the facilities, and was rudely told "no", that there were no public restrooms. I think what they fail to realize, is that as delivery drivers, we represent their customers, and we are also their peers. The woman had complete lack of respect for me as a customer, and as a person.
