McDonald's — Restaurant in Temple

Terrible, Horrible, awful, painful, First walked to the building and at 7:30 pm the store was locked up despite the dining room hours being posted on the building as 11pm, no worries though was informed a couple nights later by an employee they close at 8pm, went back a couple days after this and order a burger with meat and cheese only, fries, Dr Pepper, coffee, and a ten piece, get to the window after the forever line and they swipe my card and pull me forward about 20 minutes into my McDonald’s visit my food comes out but with no ten piece, so I pull back in line because it’s 9pm I can’t just run in and fix it there closed 2hrs early, so I get back into the single drive thru lane because reminiscent of Walmart we have two lanes but just use one (kind of). Get to the speaker and when asked what I wanted I politely said the 10piece I ordered she said pull to the window. When I get there I’ve now navigated McDonald’s drive thru for about 35 minutes and they ask if I’m picking up a door dash because no body communicated I needed my nuggets. Would’ve been easier to try to get the door dash. After I finally get the nuggets. I pull off frustrated and go to drink my coffee that’s cold, open my burger to find they put everything on it mustard lettuce all the stuff I specifically didn’t want and found myself discouraged of trying to go through a third time and left feeling very much like Leo getz in lethal weapon two when it came to drive thrus. I will no longer attempt any business with this McDonald’s I have paid in time and diservice every time I have tried. After that whole ordeal I gave them one more chance only to find they were however not 24hrs. It is the worst McDonald’s I have ever experienced. It honestly troubles me being from out of town to see the line that’s always formed around there as if the people of Temple have given up all hope for a decent McDonald’s visit and instead of avoidance there is just acceptance of the mediocre. However in my experience it passed mediocrity straight to flat out failure, if it was the last place to get a hamburger on earth I’d go vegan. I would not waste time nor money, No the minimum wage for McDonald’s should not be 15$ I wouldn’t pay these people 8$ but if you want to join the team they’re hiring for all shifts, given those signs are more correct than the...

Stopped in for breakfast. Had bacon, egg and cheese biscuit (2) along with some good hot coffee. Service was very quick and was brought directly to my table. Mmmmm will be going again soon. Update: May 5, '22. Late afternoon, had to go thru the drive thru. Inside closes at approximately 5 pm. Had the 2 for 6 mix-match for $6.00. excellent 👌👍. Would rather go inside.update: 6 July, '22. Hrs have changed. Lobby open from 8 am to 3 pm only. Drive thru open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. All is good.,👍👍👍 Update: 31 July,2024. Stopped late in evening,9 pm, only one drive thru open. Long line. After 10 minutes I got to order. WOW!! When they say low man power, they mean it. Seems like no one knew what the other was doing. Signs up everywhere for job hires for people that want to work. ???? Guess not to many people wants to work there. 👎👎 Good luck in the eves. Maybe better luck in the day. Update: 26 Oct, 2023. Early morning visit was very nice. Went inside to have my Bacon, egg, cheese biscuit. Everything was clean , bathroom too. Smiles everywhere from the staff. No yelling within the staff. 👍👍. This outing was nice for a change. Update: 25 Jan, 2024. Problems, problems. Drive thru is important at McDonald's, especially at 8:30 in the evening. Inside is closed, so you can't go in. Line for drive thru is long, especially when only one litis open. Very, very slow. Apparently under staffed. Check your purchase before you leave the pickup window, I did and had to wait more time to get it right. SAD 😢 Update: 17 September, 2024. Very very impressed. Although I will never forgive them for getting rid of the double cheeseburger off the dollar menu! I had just been released from high-school for the day in May 2007. I rode my scooter to the McDonald's closest to my house. I was 280lbs(I was fat, and all I love doing was eating) and ready for a dollar menu! When I got there I ordered a five double cheeseburgers for myself to eat as a snack b4 dinner. They told me the total... it was way higher than $5+tax. I asked them why it was so high. They said it was like a $1.29 now. For someone carrying my disgustingly high weigh, as well as being a high-schooler with a small allowance. That was to much money considering I eat 5 burgers for a meal/snack. They did however have a Mcdouble which is two patties with one slice of cheese for $1 I was furious. So I left without ordering. Went home walked straight to the fridge to get 5 slices of cheese. Rode immediately back to that McDonald's, ordered 5 Mcdoubles. When I got them I opened up every one one the cashier counter and slapped my own cheese on each one. Back then I had no idea about not bringing outside food in to other stores. Luckily the people working understood my grief and didn't correct me. I think they knew deep down I was just a disgustingly obese sweaty broke teen who just wanted some delicious empty calories to help feed my fat cells. NOW I'm a somewhat fit person with a decent job that can actually afford stuff off the regular menu. I still refuse to this day to purchase a double cheeseburger from McDonald's until they make it a dollar again! I do love McDonald's though! I wish them the best especially through...
