I enjoyed this little place. I have a gluten allergy and was very happy they have options. They also have gluten free soy sauce which is rare to hear for most places. I order the Pad Thai and it was sweet but delicious. I also enjoyed the appetizer of egg rolls. The rolls are made with rice paper. When I ate them, I didn't have any reaction or symptoms. Still, always be careful of cross contamination. The staff isn't that knowledgeable about Gluten allergy due to others coming in and giving mixed reviews. I think it might just be cross contamination cause they don't have a dedicated fryer. But they do clean and prepare for a gluten free customer when advised they have one, so they will attempt to accommodate with practices. I personally feel safe and will go again with friends. They also have plenty of vegetarian options including said egg roll. The price is also fair for what you pay for. Good serving for around 15 bucks a plate. He area is off a busy highway but doesn't get a lot of customer ls imo so it's quiet. Everyone loved the food and how it's prepared like a homemade meal. They also have spicy options if you like some kick or bite with your food. I recommend this place for those who have an allergy but always use caution with...

Called to order pad se ew and was told that beef would be an additional $1.50 & shrimp an additional $3.50 making the total for that meal $20.55. She said only chicken or pork would be included any other type of "meat" there would be an additional charge since they just changed their menu yesterday. ๐ I told her it's ok I'll just go ahead and place my order @ the original Mees Mees, and I'm glad I did. Exact same order was $14.88. So do yourself a favor and avoid this overpriced place. Ol' Mee Mee has gotten a bit too greedy with her new MeeBoons location. Pitiful!
In regards to your response Meeboons: that's sad that you would knock the other business that serves the EXACT same food & portions as you. Actually their portions are probably a bit larger...so there's that. And as a matter of fact I will continue to enjoy the other places food from now on, and save my $$ by not being ripped off by you. As far as you getting your food from Thailand...thats laughable. I'm sure you mean Costco, Sam's, etc! ๐ Have a good day, and I hope you can continue sleeping at night ripping people off the way...
ย ย ย Read moreThere was a Thai food restaurant my family loved called Mimi's. You would always get one complimentary spring roll and dipping sauce. The food was excellent! The servers were a mix of ethnicities because Mimi had a blended family. We always felt special when we walked in. Then they closed and new locations popped up in Temple. A restaurant named Mimi's like the original, and Meeboon. As far as I'm concerned, a restaurant is it's food. It is the soul of the restaurant. At Meeboon's Thai restaurant we received a complimentary spring roll that tasted just like before. The panang was the same as the original. And the environment was comfortable, about the food! We found out that the resturant named Mimi is not run by Mimi herself, it's just the name. This is now our new favorite Thai food restaurant in Temple. You can steal a name, but you can't steal the cooking. So glad we found...
