I've always had bad service at this pharmacy, the ladies at this pharmacy are less than friendly but I kept going back because the service in store is phenomenal. Well for the lady who is working this morning 8/24/20 who served the first drive thru customer you're one rude person. I've always had issues getting my son's Straterra because it's not at the pharmacy or something. Since I got more than 1 call to pick up his meds I went in and was told only guanfacine is available because the other one isn't due until tomorrow. I found this weird because I always get his meds about a week early because of my work and school schedule and while he can miss a day or two of guanfacine he can't miss Straterra because it builds in his system overtime and the state must remain steady. Now this lady told me it's not able to be refilled because it's a controlled substance, I told her I dont need the other one so I'll pick up both tomorrow morning after work and she rudely said she already ran the card and gave me the meds and told me to go and have a good day. Then someone in the back was asking her what's going on. Ma'am I know this medication is not controlled because I chose not to give my ADHD son stimulants or anything that's controlled but you chose to give me a story to hold. Additionally, I went to Walgreens to pick up my meds and made sure to ask if in the pharmacy world Straterra is a controlled med and they said no, also controlled substances are ordered for a certain number of days and his doctor always orders a few months of his meds because we don't go in monthly so explain that to me. Additionally, even if I look stupid I assure you I am not and FYI I'm in the field where I actually know what drugs are in which class so be careful how you judge people. This is the last time I'm coming to HEB pharmacy and will transfer all my son's meds to Walgreens where they appreciate people and have excellent customer service. I told her I had received a message that it was ready for pick up and on my app it even said it was ready. She checked with pharmacist and came back and said it wouldn't be ready for another hour. I then stated again that I had received a text that it was ready and she stated, "The pharmacist said no message was sent to you and it's not ready." Incredibly rude. No customer service.
